Kathy, I'm looking at post #1945.

About 7 pages back it says he (faolon) is missing in action. I guess we won't be participating in the exchange,,,bummer the kids were looking forward to it. Anyone know where the crocs were purchased?? Maybe i'll try to find one for them. kat

Hi all. Just got back last night from Flower's first WDW trip, replacing Fauna. While there I had another foster family offer to take her over when we left. She has successfully been transferred and I have phone contact info from her current DIS hosts. So far so good....

there is about a month's gap between croc sitters with Flora, I had her till Oct 13, she came home with me and is still here until ellenmiele gets her in Dec. I'm not in charge of this thread, but if someone is counting on ( or their kids are!!) having a croc to babysit, if you PM me info I can snail mail her to you to take along...like StansMaggieMouse did for me, and then you'll have to take over and make sure she gets to ellenmiele. Just a thought. I have to figure out how to put pictures of her in my message s......I have a few. She had a ball, of course.

Hi everyone! We had a wonderful trip with Flower!!! It was action packed. She made it home safely to Buffalo with us, and is just hanging out here with us waiting to be sent to her next foster family.

Thanks Jason for getting her to me...it was tense for a bit, SSR could not find her!! Her box was put in with the mail...so she almost went on a side trip with the Fed Ex deliveries.

But the ladies at the front desk were vigilant and searched until they found her. She hit it off big with the kids, they have already asked her to come back with us in May, so I will have to put in for the list again.

Sounds like *any* WDW intermediary can potentially flub the exchange! I'm glad she wasn't mailed, though there was no mailing address written on the unsealed box...

It seems without a face-to-face exchange that direct shipping might be safest. Incidentally, when you get a mailing address for the next Flower host, let me know so I can forward the 3 or 4 little items we didn't take along (left expecting to bring her back home... oops). I left her diary with her, but Fauna's mouse ears, Goofy hat, grass skirt can be sent along to the next family. Fang says doesn't wear grass skirts. What kind of skirt he *does* wear he won't say....

Speaking of Flower...


Waiting for the bus to Animal Kingdom (her choice), Flower was very excited. Note the expression. Well, posture.

We had trouble keeping up with her as she ran first to get her Expedition Everest Fastpass...

First a little walking tour and a meeting with a distant relation, the komodo dragon. Nice choppers! Cast Member invited Flower to come back and do a guest spot on the dragon's (heated) rock....

Next off to DinoLand, and her first Primeval Whirl!! Who are these guys and what's that machinery for???

So THAT'S what they were doing! A bit dizzy, but with a sense of accomplishment, along with a First Visit button (thanks delmar411!)

After her encounter with the Yeti (photo of her expression withheld at her request - yeesh!! ) Flower wanted to take the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch. There she learned she might have roots in Africa. Will my snout look like this someday? Slender sounds feminine... I like that...

Time to go, but LOOK!! It's the monkey himself!

Flower felt like Simba being presented from Pride Rock. What a wonderful day! Hakuna Matata!!
