I am just practicing by booking Fast passes for 30 days out. and what park we will be in on that day of the week. Since we are not staying on property, they have no clue what days we will be there.

Where do you see on the website to do this? I guess I'm an idiot b/c I can't see where to book them....

You can only do this if your tickets are not part of a package.

OK - that's what I'm missing - since mine are part of a package they have my dates and since I don't have "non-dated" tickets I can't try it out...

What's everyones thoughts on June hours for MK currently set to close st 10 pm?

We've been to Disney in June several times. My thought is that during the first week of May (at the latest) those hours will be updated and extended. Last year they also added a bunch of 8:00 a.m. openings for MK that were announced in May.

We are going to meet in a couple of weeks to decide on our Fast Passes, and it looks like if the hours change, we'll have to meet again to fine tune! Are we the only planning nuts out here?

Today is our 60 days! We did our fast passes this morning, but now I guess we have to keep checking watching for frozen ever after, princess fairy hall and possibly soarin to come open...

It would be my hope beyond hope that Soarin' opens up for us in June. The Frozen Ever After would be nice, but I wouldn't be devasted. Soarin', however, is my favorite ride and we have always had a cast member let us wait to get the best seats!

I think that could happen for one or two nights a week depending on how the parties go over the next several weeks, but I don't see that happening every night of the week. I'll be shocked if they keep the closing time at 10:00 and do after-hour parties every night of the week during the summer. The early closing times we're seeing now are par for the course and have happened every year. I'm not going to give it another thought until early May...when they always update the hours for June.

I think the later hours were announced much earlier last year, and what they added later on were more morning hours. Hopefully, what you say pans out. I'm crossing my fingers for a midnight close on our last night at WDW (6/24).

Hmmmm, maybe it was just the morning hours that were added in May....now I'm second guessing that it was an overall hours update in May. Regardless, the schedule for June 2016 still has DHS closing at 8:30 and I don't really see that happening either. And we all know the craziness that is the waiting of the official start date/time announcement for the night-time events at AK that are supposed to be starting *this* month. I think maybe Disney is just waiting longer in general to update all park hours for the next few months. I'm going to be totally shocked if DHS is closing at 8:30 and MK at 10:00 every night we're there in June. They made a lot of updates to the April hours in mid-February so I'm not getting worried yet. I'll wait until May....

Did our fastpasses this morning. Also online check in, but I had to call anyway because there was no way to request a king bed at the Contemporary.

I haven't had as much time to plan this go around, but we are headed "home" June 1-9th! We are renting points and staying at BLT as we've outgrown our go to resort-POR. WL and POR are much more our style, so I'm kinda apprehensive that everyone will like the contemporary vibe...but hey, it's Disney, what's not to like!? Anyway, it'll be me, DH, DD(15), DS(13) and my mom. I started my count down at 444 days, so the fact that it's now at 57 is nuts to me. I'm starting to freak out...but in a good way !

Somewhat loose plans as of right now and I'll probably have to leave it that way. I can see the kiddos wanting more pool/down time. We are officially booked now as well, CBR June 18-23! Celebrating my 40th bday. Can't wait! Bummed that BTM will be closed, but hoping that Soarin will be open by then!

We are going June 18-23 and my DD is 15 and DS is 13 too! Your plans look very similar to ours, except that we can't book FP+ till April 19. Haven't decided if we should park hop or not yet.
