Always the jokester!.... Happy Easter to you as well!

Aww hi, I miss you!! Happy Easter to you! :)

Only restaurants? Ok no problem, we will just eat around every single park and use the restaurants as our attractions! We will visit a different resort each day also haha! ;)

Happy Easter to you and Midori! Miss seeing you around. Hope your planning for DL is going well. :goodvibes

That's a good one Bob!! Hope you had a wonderful Easter, and your planning for DL is going great.

Don't joke Bob. No People Mover or Astro Orbiter for our trip.

Not cool.

Guess we'll have to ride the Mine Train a couple of extra times. :cloud9:

Enjoy California :thumbsup2

Thanks friends... I just had to come by to give you a laugh. Planning for DL is really different. Can't make ADR's until 60 days out.. Everything else is all booked even the convertible Mustang for our 2 day trip to the beach and Hollywood Blvd... DLR is much cheaper

I started a July thread for DLR and it's been fun.. Not as busy as this thread so I can keep up with all of the planning and new comers joining..

Miss you guys and I promise to stop by to say hi once in a while... Have a safe and enjoyable Disney Vacation Everyone...

Thank you!! Wow DL! We're starting to plan a Southern California trip for July 2015 including DL! I will need to get some details from you for sure! I've never been to California. I have no clue how long to stay in anaheim, as we will be splitting up our trip between that, Los Angeles and San Diego. So it will not focus on Disney, only some of the time. We're thinking a couple of nice beaches, Universal Studios Hollywood, the Knotts Berry Farm Marketplace area, San Diego zoo, and I have to see Rodeo Drive. There will be 11 of us going! It should be fun but it also means I have to get on a plane...haven't done that since April 2000!

We'll be at Chef Mickey's for breakfast on July 20 ! Too bad we'll miss ya! We are actually staying at BLT and that will be our resort day. We are all adults, but my sister just loves Chef Mickey's :) It's not my favorite either, but it'll be fun to see her enjoy it :) Send your daughter over and she can eat with us, ha!! :rotfl:

Ok, now I am a bit bummed out! But having that $80 for something else and being able to try a new restaurant kinda outweigh the bummed out feeling. It would have been great to meet you, maybe we can meet somewhere else.

Good Morning

DD and I have been to some of the places you mentioned and would love to share some pic's with you but I have to figure out the best way to this. maybe share Drop Box or share Photo Bucket, don't know yet the best way.

On another note, we will try to keep up with all we have learned from our DLR trip and share it with everyone.

11 people on one plane??? WOW!! how much fun will that be?? I would say a whole lot of super exciting fun...

Have a great day...:goodvibes

So we decided to dump Chef Mickey's on July 20th for breakfast. My dear, dear daughter had asked to go to this one. I was kind of over this place as it hasn't been great as of late. I don't want to dis a restaurant, but I also don't want to spend about $170 on what might be a questionable location. I also know that it is a classic location. That being said, we changed it to Trails end at Fort Wilderness Camp Ground. Our price at CM was going to be about $37+ per person plus tip. At TE it will be around $18 per person plus tip. I will save about $80 for this meal alone!!! :scared1: I know it's a little out of the way, but with a car, we can drive and make it easier on us. This is a new location for us, but we are excited to try a new place.

Don't drive!!! We ate there last July and it is the craziest place to get to. When you drive there you need to park your car and take their internal buses to the restaurant. It takes forever!!
We said next time we'd park at MK (I never thought I would want to park at MK LOL ) and take the boat over to the campground. The restaurant is very close to the dock.

My DD and I will be at WDW for the USSSA Softball World Series July 18-27, staying at POR. Not sure how much park time we will have, but we're excited to be heading back to Disney World!

Since our stay starts in June, my FP day is very soon. I'm at 64 days out. :scared1:

I hope I figure this out right. I'm the type of person who can plan, but can totally get things messed up too..... sooooo we shall see.....

Me too! I'll be there starting on 6/26

Thank you! I'd love to see some pics of those places. Yes, 11 people on a plane. But my mother and I are not good on planes, we can't stand flying. It scares us. I will have to get something from my doctor to help me calm down when I fly. DH is very calm when flying and already said he would take care of the boys. The kids will enjoy the flight. They don't know how my mom and I feel about flying. We don't want them to be scared too.

Hi Inspiredlife,

I was wondering if you might be interested in doing a Dismeet since we will be at the same resort during the exact same time frame. Let me know if you are interested, I think it would be neat!

inspiredlife July 18- 26 @ POR *disneymoon/1st anniversary
disneymomfanatic July 18-27 @ POR *anniversary

I hope I'm replying to this correctly - I feel like a ridiculous newbie on this site! :) My wife and I would be into doing some meet-ups during this trip! Disneymomfanatic, how funny that we basically have the same dates at the same resort!

We actually arrive in FL on July 13th so will be at the parks for a couple days before we check in as well. This is our current plan:
Friday, July 18th: DTD

Saturday, July 19th: Epcot

Sunday, July 20th: Magic Kingdom
ADR: BOG, 7:50 PM

Monday, July 21st: Resort Day

Tuesday, July 22nd: Animal Kingdom (9:00 – 7:00)
ADR: Boma at 8:25

Wednesday, July 23rd: Hollywood Studios (9:00 – 9:30)
ADR: Lunch: Dine with an Imagineer, 12:00 pm
ADR: Sci-Fi Drive In, 7:15 pm

Thursday, July 24th: Resort Day
Senses Spa: 2:00 – 4:30
ADR: Ohana, 9:15

Friday, July 25th: Magic Kingdom
ADR: Wishes Dessert Party, 9:00 pm

On our last night, I really want to eat at Chef Mickey's.
But my MIL wants the WAVE. I tried to expain they were both one credit plus we could see the characters once more before we leave...but she heard some negative things about the dinner buffet.
Anyone got some positive thoughts I can share with her?

Just popping in to say hey July peeps! Just a week and I can make our FP+ choices. And no one else in my family is excited. That's OK, I'm excited enough for all of us. :)

Hope everyone is doing well while counting down!

I am 2 weeks away from making FP+ choices. I think I have gone over every thing 100 times. My family just says tell me when to show up. They know that I'm an over planner.

Can not wait until July. It is cold in NE Ohio again today.

:welcome: to our group! Great to have a new member to our July group but especially excited to have another person staying in the same resort for the exact same time my family and I will be there!!!:thumbsup2

That actually sounds like a better idea. I know that once you park you have to take the internal bus there and it can take almost 20 mins. If we park at the MK we won't have to drive again when breakfast is done, we take a boat back over. Sounds like a great idea! THANKS!!! :thumbsup2

By the way, as a newbie, you are doing fine!!!

Aw!!! I didn't mean to bum you out!! You're right, that $80 could be better spent trying something new. It's like us with the dessert party. We've been to it 4 times, but you better believe I was SOOO tempted to book it when making our ADRs because it was available and I know how hard it is to get. Is that money better spent elsewhere on trying something new? Yes! But it still had me second guessing.

By the way, as a newbie, you are doing fine!!!

Thanks so much! I feel like a total newbie on Disboards but am a vet when it comes to actual Disney trips. :)

Anyway, Boma and Ohana are both dinner reservations. My plans for the days that I'm still off-site are:
July 16th: MK
ADR at CP 8:10am

July 17th: HS
ADR at 50's Prime Time, 1:30 pm

DisneyMomFanatic, not sure what your MK on the 20th looks like but let me know if you're interested in a meet-up!

Ferrentinos, our plans are pretty similar! Not only do we match on a cabana day, we have a few park days the same too!

I am absolutely interested in a meet! I even talked to my DH and he thinks it would be great to meet others from this thread. I did some meets on our last trip and he seemed really uncomfortable so I asked him about it this trip and he seems really open to it. (which I am super stoked about, since he hates meeting new people :lmao: )
We can work something out that day for sure. We don't have plans other than our ADR's at the moment so if you have a specific time frame, let me know and we can work from that. We intend to spend all day there. We have breakfast at 9:10am at trails end then taking the boat over and will be there probably from 10:45ish on.
