Are you all doing a pirate room or regular..this is our first time at CBR but we are staying in a regular room

We booked a standard room too - I thought about upgrading but then we decided against it. Our first time there too - we have stayed at values in the past.

We have 3 planned, including our departure day so we can get everything in hopefully! And this time, rope drop will be necessary!

We have 3 days planned at MK as well (and maybe another 1/2 if we fly in a day early) we did that last year and it worked out really good because we could take our time a little more (and eat everything we want to!!)

I would really like to add another night to our trip so we can do some other extra stuff and maybe catch a few rides in the evening or something... we'll see...I mentioned the extra cost to DH but he didn't say anything...

MK has evening EMH on our arrival day so I plan to take advantage of that. I'm the only one in my travel party that likes to do rope drop so that won't really work for us. Looks like I'll have 2 full & 1 half day at MK.

DH actually is the one who mentioned it to my which surprised me. He keeps wanting to add more restaurants in and I laughed that we would need more time and he said we'll have to see if it works (shock!) We're now just waiting to see what the official shut down days turn out to be.

Oh I wish i could book another few days. I jumped on my flights as soon as I saw that it was the best deal i could have possibly gotten. I'd like to change them and do another 2 days offsite, but I don't know if it's worth the $75 change fee pp with Jetblue plus the difference in fare. The more I look at Universal the more I think DS would love it!

We're booked for a CBR stay the 9th-15th. Will be our second on-site stay (CBR first trip as well). Can't wait!

We booked preferred rooms both times; it's convenient being walking distance from Old Port Royale for the food and pools and not needing the internal shuttle. No Pirate rooms yet, though.

How crowded is HS on the 4th? Do you have to stay all day? Or does it usually close due to number of guests? HS or Epcot better for 4th fireworks? (Seeing MK's on the 3rd)

I am at 100 today!!!!!!!!!!

We are at day 104, but my family is in town and will be leaving on our 100 day so we celebrated last night. I got them surprises from the Disney Store and bought the $2 reusable shopping bags from there as well (to use as gift bags.) I also bought a little cheesecake and made a Mickey head on it with a chocolate chip cookie and two Oreos! Ha! It'll be so fun to be in double digits! We've been counting down for almost a full year!

DH has gotten cold feet about staying so long. We have scaled our trip from 10 nights to 7. BOO. 7 is still pretty darn good. I was really looking forward to doing a park every other day.

We are at 102 days now.

Update on DD8. Her temp broke Wednesday. She was put on a stronger antibiotic. She is still not 100%, BUT, she is feeling better and NO fever. I will take it and be happy!!
