Hello to all my July Dis Friends --- Missed the winter mix forecasted this weekend and today.. WOW!!! Just cold and wet.

Got the day off and Midori does not have to go to school until10am.. asked if she wanted to stay home with Dad??? She said love ya Dad, but I have to go to school. I don't like having the day off being by myself .

Hahahaha! That's when we know we are in trouble when our kids rather go to school than hang out with us! I offered to take my boys to the local pizza place last Saturday & my older boys said, "ummm we need to go to the library. But, you can give us $20 and we can go by ourselves after." oh well.

Dessert and Nap House (Country Home) 7:00 PM

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving/Chanukah! I can't believe how fast everything is going by. Soon it will be Christmas & New Years. Then we will be talking about making ADRs and finalizing July trips. I still need to finalize mine. I always feel guilty when I spend a huge chunk of money on something other than a necessity and I think that's part of being a single parent. Hope everyone is doing awesome!!

Well, all the brothers have agreed on a date, but now we can't get all our rooms together at the CR-garden wing, where we like to stay.

Here too! Staying July 1-9th at CBR and I'm struggling to make my plan for the week! Anyone have any thoughts on where to be on the 3rd & 4th? Or maybe where to stay away from?

I'm going to try to be at the MK for July 4th. I know it will be crazy but I as a Canadian I thought it would be neat to experience Independence Day there.

July 3~ AM hit a water park until noon or the park that has AM EMH until 11am. (not the MK)
PM ~dinner at Cape May Cafe then Illuminations cruise. I would love to be able to squeeze in the fireworks at the Studios as well, but not sure if that will be possible.

July 4~I plan to spend the whole day in the MK. I'm going to book three TS ADRs. Not for full meals. But for a cool place to rest while sharing appetizers and drinks. Hopefully we'll be able to book the dessert party for Wishes.

July 5~ sleep in then hit DisneyQuest

I just signed in to MDX (we're 224 days out) and it said we can now customize our Magic Bands! I know it's still super early and we have until June 16 to do it, but it was just cool to see, and since we planned our trip so far in advance it was fun to see something "new" we can play around with over the next couple months

It just showed up in my account, but I think the plan by July is that all on-site guests will have them. Not sure about the plan/timeline for off-site.
