Sounds like an AWESOME plan!! 15 hours? You must be south of me then. I'm in Springfield. We drove last year and loved the flexibility it gave us and the kids were great in the car, but we'd most likely fly this time since it's such a quick trip.
I would definitely fly for a quick trip, too. We're about an hour and a half south of you...right outside of St. Louis. The driving thing works for us, but I know it's not for everyone. We leave around 5pm, and the kids are asleep by 10pm. I just plug in the ear buds and enjoy my coffee in peace and quiet while everyone sleeps. Hubby and I take turns and switch every few hours.
We'll get in sometime Friday, hopefully by lunchtime or so. Checking out Monday (most likely by lunchtime if we're flying). I was thinking 3 day tickets, with 1 day each at Epcot, HS, and MK. Not sure though...was thinking of making 1 ADR each day? How does the FastPass for lunch at BOG work??
I have now added Biergarten for dinner on July 4th
Hello Everyone
Reading everyone's ADR's, Resorts and Parks has DD and I all excited..We can start our ADR's in 3 days.... We are ready to GO !!!!!!!
Have a Great Evening![]()
Fastpass for lunch at BoG???!!! I need to hear more about this, too!!
We actually did the FP for BOG lunch last summer through an invitation from our concierge. This trip coming up (16 days ... but who's counting?) we were able to secure a FP for BOG from the website beourguestlunch.disney.go.com - you just need to type in your MB reservation number or your ME reservation number to enter it. I'm not sure if it is continuing past January - but it didn't open for January until mid December so we will have a while to wait until the July ones open up (if they continue doing it!) It was PERFECT last summer and we are looking forward to doing it again in a couple of weeks.![]()
It sounds great! I had to look it up online, and so far everyone is saying that you have to be invited to use the FP+ for BoG, but by our trips in July, who knows what we'll be able to do?!
Wednesday, July 9: Magic Kingdom Day! Early counter service lunch (we like Pecos Bill's Tall Tale Inn). 6:25 ADR at 'Ohana (my mouth is watering already). FYI, if you are heading to 'Ohana and have never had the Lapu Lapu pineapple and rum drink, take my word for how delicious it is.
Saturday, July 12: I booked ADRs at Be Our Guest for 6:30pm, but I am going to be flexible about what we do that day. We don't have park hopper tickets, so we can only hit one park a day. This is going to be our day to re-visit whatever park we want, so if my family doesn't want to go back to MK, then we will have to skip BoG (sniff sniff).
Ok, a decision has been made in my house! (which in and of itself is very dramatic and unusual)We are changing resorts!!! We are upgrading even if there isn't a discount for our time. We are going to stay at POR in an Alligator Bayou room. They have 2 queen beds and the smaller fold out bed. When my DD saw that on the video, she screamed across the room "That is MY BED!!!"
So basically my DH and I get a bed, my teen DS gets his own bed and so does DD. SOLD!!!![]()
We did Biergarten last year and had a lot of fun. The entertainment is kind of cheesy but cute, and the boys had fun toasting with their (root) beer mugs.
What is the one restaurant you must eat at in each park? Go!![]()
