There are just a few of us left that are still counting down the days! How are your last minute preparations coming along?

It's always hard being the last to go.

We have most of our packing done. I put a hold on the mail yesterday. I have some last minute things to buy. I charged the camera last night. I just have shoes and toiletries to put in the suitcase.

You're doing great...way ahead of us! I haven't even pulled the suitcases out yet. We'll get there though. I'm focusing on just getting through the workday and preparing the office for my absence. The real rush will begin this evening!

You know, we all go crazy about packing and really - do you ever waste time looking at what others are wearing when you are in the "happiest place on earth"?! Lol

As long as you remember clean underwear, and the bathing suit that actually FITS, the rest falls into place! I won't point out you are wearing the same shorts if you don't remind me I recycled that sundress..... ;-)

Well, everyone is home safe and sound and all luggage finally made it! Here's wishing everyone leaving soon a magical trip!!!

We had so many magical experiences, one humbling one, one scary one, and lots of laughs!

Big thumbs up to Garden Grocer, Disney Florist, the CR cake decorators, the CR pool lifeguards, and our BLT Mousekeeper!!

We fell in love with BLT! My mom is the queen of never wanting to stay at the same place again and she said she'd stay at BLT again in a heartbeat

Glad you made it back safe and sound. We leave Pensacola on Monday going back to Wyoming. I think I'm ready to go home. I'm ready to get back to our routine so we can plan the next Disney trip.

Deal! You are so right. Of course I over-analyze everything wondering how certain things will look in pictures? Will I look put together? Silly, isn't it?

Question for those who've been there recently...we watched Wishes from our room 4 different nights and watched it from the FP viewing area once and Tink didn't fly on any of those nights. I'm sure it was due to distant lightning or something, but I was just curious if anyone there saw her fly recently or maybe they stopped?

What a shame!! This was our first time using ME since we usually stay at the Dolphin. We experienced no problems whatsoever. Smooth going to and from and luggage was on our flight. We flew JetBlue. We also had a very early flight to Florida and a very late flight back to Newark. Wonder if your issues were dye to timing or Southwest? Sorry it was less than magical!

So it ends up it was totally Southwest. ME did a tracking and the bags were scanned at the airport 2 1/2 hours prior to their flight. Southwest said the plane was too heavy so they had to pull bags off and anyone who paid extra due to having a heavier bag gets priority. That's ridiculous! So SW celebrates themselves for allowing 2 free bags but them there's a chance the plane will be too heavy and you won't get your bags. Luckily they live within an hour of the airport (just barely) because if you don't they have to Fed Ex your bags to you and it can take a couple days.

Don't we all? Welcome to womanhood...and this comes from somebody whose husband works in the fitness industry. (We're even tinkering with the idea of writing a short e-book on eating healthy at Disney.) I think it's pretty natural to be critical of ourselves in pictures. We ordered MM, so I'm just excited for the kids to actually have a picture or two with me in it. I'm usually the one behind the camera!

She flew on both nights we watched Wishes - July 13 on our Pirates and Pals, we could see her from there, and then July 19 when we were at the Tomorrowland Desert party.

I'm sorry you missed it - that is one of the highlights for our kids

Yes! My mom just got off the phone with Southwest and apparently the port cities often use their commercial flights to ship cargo so that often overloads the weight. They said what happened to them happens about once a week! Apparently the only 'safe' group that is guaranteed to have their luggage on the plane is group A which is anyone who pays an extra $50 to board first, those needing special assistance, and those with kids under 5 (which is a lot on a flight from Orlando.) They even said if there is anyone who is in boarding group C they might not even be permitted to take on their carry on because of the plane being overweight! At least all is settled now and they did give them a $75 credit for the troubles.

Watching her fly from the dessert party is so cool! Glad you got to see that!! The 19th is one of the few nights of our trip that we didn't watch Wishes

You definitely have me beat w Hawaii. But we'll be back in February too. My kids are so spoiled that the oldest doesn't even appreciate it anymore. he asked if he could stay home in Feb. what is wrong w that kid??!!!! Lol
