Thank you for checking on that, I will watch for the additional info. But, unfortunately at that price, I think we will have to skip it, I was hoping they would offer the ride along, like they do for the race car experience.

We got to ride in a Viper last year at Talladega for free for like 4 laps

Yeah, and I bet they raise the price for these cars, too!

I'll call back in November to find out more. I know my DH will want to drive but $500 for only 8 laps seems waaaaaaay too $$$$$$

When do you plan to pack for your trip?

We finished packing about a week ago (after finally putting the shorts away); the worst part is that the kids and I have had our suitcases out (and have been packing) for over a month. I know... we're horrible! What can I say, Daddy and the children get a bit excited!!

My husband and I are taking our sweet little boy for his 3rd birthday!

As of right now, we're scheduled to be there from Jan. 10-14 and we're staying at All Star Movies.

BUT, I'm 99.999% positive I'm going to add 2 days to the beginning of our trip. Whoo hoo!

Booked literally two days ago. I suppose that's late and I have a feeling we grabbed the last POFQ room for Jan 6 to the 14th.

Haven't been to WDW since 1999 and I'm pretty sure it'll be all new again.

My question of the day

When do you plan to pack for your trip?

I sort of pack all the time. I have A hanging organizers for toiletries, so I add sample and travel sized ones of those as I get them. Then I have a bag in my closet where I keep all of our new stuff for Disney. We have a disney outlet out here, so when I find something cheap, I've just been adding it to the bag. And then I added a bathing suit I found on clearance for my DS. We're going "home" (to my parents house) for Christmas, so we'll need the suitcases then, so once we get home, I'll add the stuff into the suitcases.

When do you plan to pack for your trip?

I will start about a week before. I am already shopping though for some new clothing for the trip. Not a lot, just a few pieces here and there. I just got the cutest coat. For those chilly evenings while we watch fireworks. Or cold mornings waiting for the bus to take us to the park for rope drop.

Anyone have a good recommendation on where to get a pin lanyard online? I would prefer an official Disney one like you get in WDW.

I usually have good luck with ebay - you can get them cheaper there than in the parks. The official Disney lanyards are a better quality - IMO - and hold up better.

I just booked our first trip! We are staying at All Star Movie the week of Jan. 22nd. We haven't told our 8 year old yet. We plan on telling him soon so he can help make a touring plan, I just need to come up with a way of telling him.

Disneystore.com sometimes has them and will probably be having various sales throughout the holiday season. And if you have a disney store outlet, they sometimes carry them in there as well.

I'm doing the same thing. Only I use the organizer for lots of our stuff, and really don't stick to travel size. I keep it hanging in my bathroom, and have much of what we use on a daily basis in there...that way there is less chance of necessities being forgotten. I've decided that I shall start packing SOON. Our seasons are changing here, and my days of being able to use warm weather clothing are ending. As I launder it for the "last time", to my suitcase it goes. I know I'll need to add a few more things for the cooler nights and mornings...
