The Official GLEE thread

I also cried through the entire show.
I completely agree that Mercedes/the church choir was amazing.
The funniest moment for me was when Britney gave Kurt the book report...lol!

DS16 and DD12 watched it with me, it lead to a very good discussion we had on God and spirituality.:goodvibes

And that is precisely why this show has such mass appeal! Even with the silly, fun episodes there are enough real issues to keep this show relevant AND entertaining. :thumbsup2

That is freaky! We were sure it had to be a cousin, little brother, or some how related! :scared1:

I wonder where I could send a photo of my DD for consideration - she looks like Naya Rivera (people are always mentioning this to her!)

I don't think that it is ever a good idea to "put a character back". We'd be complaining about how static and one-dimensional that she's become, if she didn't change over time. I think that they need to find a different path, though, for the character to travel.

OK, so maybe not put her back, but I meant to bring back the parts of her personality that made us love her, even when she was a snot. So far this season, we haven't really seen that part of her. Even my daughter commented on it, and we both absolutely LOVE Lea Michele.

That kid was amazing! That was the spookiest look a like ever!

I also cried through the whole episode. The kid (little Kurt) in the flashbacks while Kurt was singing - that had to be relation to him! It looked exactly like him. I loved, "I want to hold your hand."

The resemblance is uncanny, but they are not related:

I feel like this show went from worst (last week) to best (this week). With the exception of Finn's flat performance of Losing My Religion, a favorite song of mine, I thought the music was top notch last night. I was glad my husband was gone on vacation so he didn't have to walk in and see my crying through a Glee episode.

Great episode.

Loved the scene with Sue and her sister, playing checkers. Incredible how just a 3 minute scene can reduce me to tears . . .

My nephew died young and unexpectedly this past February. Kurt expressed precisely my struggles and doubts. It was a heavy episode for me, but I thought it was very touching.

"I Wanna Hold Your Hand" was amazing. I will probably download it before the Volume 4 CD comes out.

How did a find a child who looks so exactly like Chris Colfer?

Maybe he cloned himself and doesn't want to press to find out??!!

The resemblance is FREAKY!!! I mean even down to the eyebrows:scared1:

I pretty much lost it during 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand." My best friend went into the hospital for leukemia treatment yesterday. She has young kids and that song just got to me. It was beautiful and tragic.

Loved last night episodes. I liked that it really made me think about what they were talking about. Having been in the situation where my dad was really sick, I struggled a lot like Kurt did with everything and was glad to see it.

I bawled through "I wanna Hold Your Hand". I am downloading it as we speak.

I aslo loved how there were some funny moments to help keep things going along. Grilled Cheesus was hilarious and made me want a grilled cheese so bad, :lmao:

Jane Lynch was amazing last night and just proves why she won that emmy.

The arrangement of "I Want to Hold Your Hand" that Kurt sang was written for the movie "Across the Universe," which is a musical tour of Beatles songs. I thought Chris Colfer did a wonderful job with it. It was my favorite song of the night.

What's the episode this morning, another great one! I'm loving that they are giving Sue some real depth, it proves that Jane deserved that Emmy.

I loved most of the music, and adored the episode as a whole, but I really thought Finn's Losing my Religion sounded awful. His voice sounded strained and it was flat as can be.
