I was thinking the same thing about the way Sam dresses. These costume people really need to buy a clue.

Is it me...or does Sam EVER wear anything that covers her chest. I know this has been discussed but I swear I am watching today and this woman is supposed to working at the District Attorneys office...and she is constantly flashing her girls all over the place! Where is there an office like that?...Surely it isn't even "casual Friday". ....it is apparently "half naked Thursday". I also wonder does the actress that portrays her ever feel as if they don't have much confidence in her ability as an actress if she is always under dressed. I know my daugher is young 19 and works part time in an attorneys office and if she ever dressed like that..she would be sent home. Of course her uncle is her boss...but regardless. They do have a rule about no jeans..for anyone..even scanners who are not seen by clients..appropriate office attire is expected.
Oh auntie, great minds were thinking alike! I was writing my post when yours came up about the same thing. Cleavage City whenever Sam enters the scene. :sad2:

I think that Alexis's acting job on the coughing bit was a little over the top today. The inhaler bit was out of whack. She was inhaling then pushing down the pump, she had it a bit backwards. I am wondering where they are going with this story line. Is she leaving? If so, is her last request for Sam and Rick to get married, so the kids can stay together? EWWWW that would be gross!!!

It was a touching scene today when Alexis told Nicolas that she has cancer. He was so sweet and sad.

Agree! These Alexis cancer scenes are very well-done. I didn't think anything could rival the sadness I felt when BJ died--I remember sobbing during those scenes. IMO, the writers are certainly building up to some kleenex scenes with Alexis, too!

Oh I agree with this. I remember the scene when Felicia realized it was BJ's heart that Maxi was getting.... when she just collapsed to the floor. Totally heart wrenching! I sobbed!

The scenes with Tony and BJ..and her heart in Maxie...well that was about the sadest thing...and he was great. It was made even more dramatic because of the situation with Bobbie at the time, afair with Damien Smith if I recall correctly. The scene with Alexsis and Nicholas is the only thing I find normal about the entire Cancer scenerio. There is history between these two characters. Where as the situation going on with her husband and daughter...I just don't get it. Why she wouldn't confront her husband and daughter about their behavior...please. Okay...could we also think that maybe she would have told her daughter who is half dressed not to walk around half naked. Not that her husband should have been enticed by that..but it's just so totally inappropriate. The woman does not live alone..she lives in a home with two younger siblings..and should have clothes on. That's just a little too big of her. She wants her girls together..so have them be with her husband who slept with her other daughter..not to mention his daughters sister?...Gross. I don't think as a mother I'd want to worry about my husband sleeping with one of my children. This is sort of "Woody Allen-ish" if you ask me.

Cleavage City...I like that :rotfl2: ...maybe they should re-name the show! General Hospital could become a place where the rest of the characters go for...cleavage enhancements!

Okay--who's the bottled water company that got the product placement contract with GH? Suddenly everyone in Port Charles is drinking that brand! :sunny:

Sam has always been half naked... ever since she first came to PC.... her lack of clothing is part of her character. I don't care for it, nor do I see the need for it. Kelly Monaco must be tired of never wearing anything but hankies with string ties.

The Ric/Sam affair is really uncomfortable. ...I really wish everyone in Port Chuck would stop putting all the blame on Ric... "Poor Sam" my patootie.....

I just thought of something.....
Molly and Christina are not only half sisters.. they are cousins.....

Robin... great storyline right now... I like it alot... wish April could have hung around a little longer.

LuLu and Dillon... I like these actors! I just want these kids to be able to have some fun and adventure.. not have to worry about babies.
I like how Georgie can be sympathetic, empathetic and angry all at the same time.

Maxie.. oh my what a little witch! LOL
I think Rebecca Herbst-Elizabeth is doing a good job at showing the stress created by living with an abuser....

Does Maurice Benard ever go on vacation????? :confused3

I believe he's the only character close to Tony Geary on pay scale, but doesn't seem to get the vacation time. For a year, I swear there hardly seemed to be a day when Sonny and Jason weren't on.

Sonny does need to go on vacation.

His seens with Robin were very good today. He really stumbled, mumbled blew his lines with the Hospital Rep. that gave him April's belongings. I just wanted to yell at Sonny to "Shut Up Already"-the person was just doing her job, so what if she didn't show any emotion over the death of "April".

Then Sonny had a few lines with Alexis-he was a little better with his repeated and stumbling lines, but not much. Now Alexis's is trying the Sonny angle to keep Sam and Jason apart. I wish Alexis would give it a rest. I wish Sonny too would go on vacation.

Lucky and his addiction withdrawal is wierd. Lucky's eyes sometimes looks like he is going to whack out. Are they going to send Lucky to Rehab and then come back with the originaly Lucky?

I like seeing Nick involved in his family's life. Being there for Lucky, even when Luckey pushes him away-very much like real brothers would, I think!

I agree about Lucky and Nikolas, I wish they had more air time together.

I also thought the scenes between Nik and Alexis were well done. It was very believable, as if they were really nephew and Aunt.

I saw "on the next General Hopsital...." that we return to the Carly & Jax show on Monday.

How about when Tony put his head to Maxi's chest and listened? I still get weepy everytime they flash back to that time.

Oh wow, now that's a plan. I am very excited to see the old Lucky come back. He and Elizabeth always had great chemistry together. I think it will also be nice to see him when Genie Francis comes back as well. With Leslie, Laura, Luke and Lucky it's like the old folks home. Everyone coming home.

Has it been confirmed that Jonathan Jackson is definitely returning to reprise his role as Lucky?

Jonathan Jackson back as Lucky??... Ya I missed him when he left.. but I am comfortable with Greg Vaughn as the current Lucky... I would be sad to see him go.....

btw.. anybody else see the GH commercial on SoapNet.. the one with the history of Carly with ALL of the Actresses who have held the roll?? I love it and LOL every time I see it! :rotfl:

I have no idea if this is true, but if true I sure would like it. I was not comfortable with JR from AMC playing Lucky, he was never really believeable in that role. Greg Vaughan has done a great job, but lets face it, Jonathan Jackson developed that role and he would be the best in it (my opinion). But I am glad that they have finally given his character a story line with some meat to it.

I've grown so used to Greg Vaughan playing Lucky that it would be just as hard to get used to Jonathan Jackson as it was getting used to the other two Luckys. :confused3

Jonathan Jackson was Lucky back then, but would he be able to pull it off now? I guess so, but I'm not sure. I just wish they'd leave the characters be and stop shuffling them around. If the actor wants to leave (not renew their contract or whatever) then write the character out.

There was something in SOD that said that Jonathan Jackson wouldn't be coming back, that it was just a rumor.

Luke will be back next week, it sounds like.
