Did I miss where they explained how Scotty left town, as I remember he stole or embezzeled alot of money, yet now he's an "upstanding" enforcer of the law? That seems to be the case with so many people in "Port Chuck"-they do illegal things and yet somehow they end up as upstanding citizens.

ok.. so I cried today with Luke in the hospital talking to everyone b4 his surgery. anybody else tear up??? I do like that Scott and Luke have a love/hate connection that is unbreakable. While I adore Luke and Laura as a couple, I hesitate to bring Laura back because I so enjoy Luke and Tracy as a mature love.


and Minniefan... I agree with you .. so many repetitive lines... and then to have broken storylines... GH has been better than this for many years....

What happened to Spinelli finding out his biological parentage?? Of course, I do like to keep guessing who might have hooked up to create this lovable character. Of Course my first choice is Nurse Amy Vining and Aerobics instructor Richard Simmons love child... but lately I am leaning toward

And, I want to commend this long running thread. There is not one deleted post. Everyone really is nice on this thread.

I agree. This is the only long running thread that I post on! What can we say.....GH Diser's are just the best! Plus, I think there are quite a few of us that have watched GH for *ahem* a very long time (not that I'm saying any of us are.....getting older or anything ) that have seen the cycles come and go of the good and bad. It's nice to reminisce of the good old days.

Mac - a bobblehead? That's funny...and I agree, maybe it's just his bushy hair. He does look a little weird.

And Leslie's comment was great today....that's what I like, a nice interesting family story that has history - unlike the constant mob junk.

Jenn Lynn -- do you have any spoilers? I didn't realize how much I depended on them to know what was going to happen. I guess I just don't like being surprised!!!

Legit insiders haven't been by the normal places lately. It's hard to say what is true or not. Plus the writers strike is not helping any. That being said I will post what 'seems' to be legit.

*Jason and Liz have a love scene coming up the week of the 17th. She decides to meet him in a room at MC. She calls and (I think) acts like it's urgent and he races to see her. She says they need to be together, etc. He resists a little then agrees. Sex and SB's shirt comes off. They are in all segments on Thursday. They agree to keep their relationship a secret and meet a lot at MC. They are in the CE and NYE montages.

Custody stuff is sketchy right now so take this with a GoS. Lucky gets the kids on Christmas Eve and takes them to Sam's. After the holidays Lucky has placed a tail on Jason. Thinking he is busting up a mob meeting at MC he busts in on Liz in bed Jason in the bathroom??? He obvisouly figures out what is going on and decides to go for custody. He gets Emergency Cust. Ric is his lawyer. Some how Ric outs the paternity of Jake to the wrong people. Kids in danger, Lucky can't protect them, something happens, he gives them back. This is supposed to happen mid-Jan to mid/end of Feb sweeps. Liz will be DONE with Lucky after this ish goes down.

SBr will be a Zacharra, short term (supposedly), involved in mob story, no real love interest (maybe angst for Skate-Sonny & Kate), wants to help Johnny/SaSon who is taking the fall for Trevor.

Scrubs (Robin and Patrick) "together by NYE", but not official until Jan sometime. Baby storyline coming.

I haven't been paying much attention to the Georgie storyline. I *think* she dies Friday and Mac finds her next week. She is on the docks alone and knows her killer. She and Spin suspect Coop. Maxie is preparing to meet Coop at Sam's (who has lent her the hotub) when Georgie is killed. KW returns, SC returns, Robin cries in Patricks arms. Lots of Scorpio family scenes.

J-Lex-Jerry and Alexis are going to be in each others orbits more. They are testing them.

Monica sees Emily while she is doing Luke surgery and freezes. Leo has to take over to save Luke.

CarJax also have a baby story coming. Going to be complications for Carly. Might be IVF like Robin. Supposedly Scrubs buy a house next door to CarJax.

Johnny and LuLu kissing coming up.

Jason tells Spin about Georgies feelings soon. *

*SOD: KATE LEAVES SONNY

At Metrocourt, Kate makes her way to Sonny and Trevor's table and Sonny narrowly avoids a sniper's bullet as she walks towards them. According to Megan Ward, Kate is almost shot and part of the drama is that you don't know who the bullet was intended for. The only thing Kate knows is that she almost died and that changes everything for her once that happens.

Despite the fact that Kate has said she accepts the danger in Sonny's world, she now questions the decision to stay with him. MW says that Kate is naive. MW thinks Kate tolerates the danger because she secretly hopes to help Sonny find a way out of the choices he's made in life. But when she's confronted with that kind of violence, she can't ignore the warnings signs, it's real now.

Diane tries to comfort her and according to MW creates "an opportunity for Kate to protect herself from Sonny's world, which has significant consequences down the road. So, Diane is trying to do the right thing by Kate, but may inadvertently end up making the situation even worse."

By the end of week Kate leaves town. MW says the holidays may not be the happiest time for Skate "but there's always New Years."

With TMK killing Georgie, Christmas looks pretty bleak for the citizens of PC. In more domestic drama, the holidays find Jason particularly blue and longing for Elizabeth and the family he can never have on Monday, December 24.

Basically it's all Laura Wright talking for almost an entire page.

They recap the casting history of Carly and note yet again she will be coming back to play a different role.

LW says that SBr is her definitive Carly and "I have to tell you I'm a little intimidated."

She says her biggest fear is that SBr won't like what she's doing with the character. She hopes she hasn't disappointed her. "I can see it now - the first scene I shoot with her I'm going to be like, 'Oh, my God. Is that okay?' What'd you think [laughs]?' She originated this groundbreaking character. She's got to be a little bit like, 'Don't do that [laughs]!"

SOD says the news took the soap world by storm and GH confirmed it shortly thereafter. Speculation is her character is named Angela Zacchara, sister to Johnny and who may have a past with Ric.

The news wasn't a shock to LW, though. She says the producers actually called her quite a few months ago when the idea first surfaced, to let her know they loved her and her job was safe and they were bringing SBr back as someone else, a whole other character. She says she wasn't even sure it was still happening because she hadn't heard anything since.

LW asserts that she's looking forward to working with SBr. "She freakin rocks." LW says she knows a lot of people that worked with SBr at ATWT and they all have nothing but rave reviews for her. "Playing against someone that strong as an actress? God help me rise to the occasion."*

I totally agree! I was thinking it was Coop, but now they are making it way to obvious. I would think Maxie would recognize his smell as well.
