No, you're not the only one. First of all, she didn't seem THAT drunk, and he was being really nice to her by picking up for her in front of Alexis-- it sure did not seem like it was all "Rick"-- I couldn't believe she was playing victim. Like yesterday "I woke up on the floor, Jason.. the floor." I'm so sick of Sam, the victim. Yeah, and you left your mess for your poor mother to clean up (that scene was so sad). Now, she "hates" Ric as if he victimized her, and he's going along with it by turning back into slime. I hate when the writers act like we're idiots.

I'm sooo glad this just wasn't me...I really thought I was missing something watching this entire interpertation of the events. Do these writers realize that we watched this scenario unfold...as they have written it...and somehow now we are to forget any of that and believe that Sam is this "victim"? :confused3 She is repulsed by Ric? Give me a break! :sad2: I know they re-write history all the time to adapt to a current storyline..but jeeze...this was just a couple of weeks ago! I guess we are to erase from our memories everything we have watched for weeks as they make Ric back into a sleeze and Sam a poor victim. She is no victim...kind sleazy really. I think I'd like it better if she just played it off as a terrible mistake, and that she never wants it to happen again ,rather than the innocent step daughter routine.

I waited forever pining for Jason and Sam to get back together. The Ric situation really ruined it for me. Now I'd love to see Jason and Elizabeth finally get it together! I'm rooting for the baby to be Jason's! :cheer2:

I may be in the huge minority here, but I will be verrry disappointed if they actually have Lulu get an abortion. Maybe this is where Laura will enter the scene and persuade Lulu not to go through with it. I've lost track. When is Laura expected to reappear?

According to the spoilers, this is exactly what they are planning. Expect Laura to reappear in the nick of time...

Even if the baby is Jason's I doubt that Elizabeth will reveal that to him...as she made a real point of telling Jason that she wished she and her child could be more a part of his life than they are but it would be too dangerous. She had to put the safety of her child first This leads me to believe that she would rather believe that the baby is Lucky's or even leave town. She has a history of doing that already. My feeling is her thinking would be more or less like an Alexsis thing...thinking no father was better than Christina having Sonny for a father. Jason will probably find out in two years that he is the real father...when for some reason they will need some sort of transplant to save the child. Boy...I've been watching these things too long. :sad2:

I just read Kelly Monaco (Sam) signed a contract for another 2 years. Maybe they were going to write her off, but had to change the direction of her character again because she signed on for 2 more years.

She's coming back in mid-October, on-screen (per ABC Soaps in Depth). But its only for two weeks. I'm not sure if that's two weeks on-screen or two weeks of filming. I'm thinking maybe two weeks of filming, because two weeks on-screen wouldn't put them at their mid-November anniversary, which was the point. Either way, it won't be long enough, and I'm really wondering how they're going to get rid of her again. I wish she would come back for good, but Genie being happy with her family is the most important thing.

And I hope Lulu doesn't have an abortion, too.

I don't remember where I read this, but Laura is given a drug that brings her out of her catonic state. The downside of the medication is that it will kill her in a very short amount of time if she continues to take it. If she stops taking it, she'll be a zombie again.

I don't know if this is the planned story for her or not, so take it with a grain of salt. I guess we'll all find out eventually.

Someone remarked on Carly's hair, I so agree! She has beautiful hair! And I was glad to see her in bright yellow (Wednesday's episode) for a change! It seems like everyone on that show is always wearing drab subdued colors. It looked great on her! They even had Laney in a bold green outfit during Sonny's home psych. visit.

Bummer. I was hoping we wouldn't have to see Sam much longer. :furious:

I thought todays show was really good with Luke and Lulu. He really has stepped up as a dad.

I am really getting tired of the whole Sam/Rick thing. We all know that Rick is going to try to use Sam to make Jason mad. Blah Blah Blah!

What's up with Sam all of a sudden covering up the girls? I've noticed the last two episodes she's been covered up on the chest (finally!) Maybe the writers DIS and saw our comments :rotfl2:

I think Lulu will end up doing the abortion since now Luke is saying he will take her 'somewhere else' to get the abortion done so that she's not under so much pressure. But I think there will also be a legal battle about it but only by Edward's pushing it since Dillon admitted he felt a little relieved that Lulu was going to have the abortion. Though Dillon acting the fatherly role could make for some pretty funny shows...

I also wish they'd stop with the whole stupid Micheal interferring with Carly's life. He's a kid and shouldn't be running Carly's life!!! I know they've touched on the topic that he's been spoiled and acts spoiled but maybe they need to start looking at it more closely now and having Carly and Sonny straighten him out once and for all! Military school for the Mob King son! :happytv:

So is Alexis supposed to die after all? I know that she was put into the coma today and she said her 'goodbyes'...Kinda expected her to get a little more upset when she said goodbye to her girls :confused3 That kinda went over like a lead balloon.

gonna be an interesting fall! Fall sweeps of course!

SOAP SPOILERS FROM SOAP OPERA DIGEST

GH
Sam's inner conflict deepens as Alexis's condition takes a turn for the worse. On Monday, September 25, Sam fears that, due to her family hardship, she and Jason will have to go their separate ways once and for all.... On Tuesday, September 26, a downtrodden Lucky sinks to new depths as he spirals out of control.

!

YES!! :thumbsup2 I was wondering if I was the only one that was feeling this way.

Just a few thought.

I too covet Laura Wright's hair! I love it. Always have, I remember her on Loving and The City.....great hair.

I was SO hoping that Kelly Monaco would leave. I think Sam is just about the most pathetic female character. She whines constantly, has no stregnth and no purpose other than to annoy me. The Ric thing has pushed me over the edge. Take some responsibility, don't act so poor pathetic always taken advantage of Sam. Puke.

I kinda want Lulu to have the abortion. I think they are doing an amazing job with this storyline. All the 'teens' have been great. Dillon, Georgie and especially Lulu. I love that they show that even though she believe the abortion is the right decision for her that it isn't easy. I like that she is going into it with a heavy heart.

If she does have an abortion, I also hope there are no complications down the road. It is a safe and (currently) legal procedure and there are generally not complications. I'm just worried that 10 years from now there will be a huge re-write that Lulu's 'evil' abortion provents her and her new amazing husband from having children. I guess I'm still sick from the re-write of Erica's abortion on AMC.

I just don't trust Guza and co to handle the story correctly either way.

Alexis will not die she is only going on vacation. We will get to see her go through chemo, also Robin will have something to do with bringing Laura out of her catonic state. And thank goodness for her up coming vacation I just sick of her! :happytv:

I agree on trusting Guza. :sad2:

I also hope that LuLu follows through with the abortion. I think it would be a more realistic approach.

I'm surprised...but I'd like to see it play out. The only time I've seen soaps go down this road and stick to it was when Julia on AMC had an abortion after being raped. Somehow that wasn't as taboo...the entire re-write of AMC's Erica's abortion..excuse me "termination" is just insulting and sickening.
I would be glad to see GH handle this in a realistic manner, considering the girls age and circumstances ...and not have her suddenly fall down a flight of stairs or have her mother come out of a coma just to shed light on her situation.

As far as Sam and "the girls"....thank goodness...enough already. Yes...we know you've got them...they don't have to write dialog for the actress...who the heck is listening or looking at her face anyway. It really doesn't go with the "evil Rick" storyline either. She is now playing the innocent put upon step daughter...so I guess it was time to put the girls away! ;) At least for while..we all know it won't be too long before they make a reppearance!

Wow was today a great cliffhanger friday!!!! I haven't seen one this good in awhile. I got the impression from the previews that she didn't have the abortion. Maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part. Don't tell me elizabeth is gonna lose this baby!!!!!

OMG--what an intense final-five minutes to Friday's show! Very well done! And please, has Lucky become possessed by Satan or what? They have ruined his character. Is he leaving the show? BTW--loved when Nicholas pushed open the door on Lucky and Maxie--wish Nicholas would've kicked some butt! :sunny:

Tick tock, tick tock, 7:00.

Excellent episode today! Did LuLu or didn't she? I guess we'll have to wait to find out!

I see in the previews for Monday's show Robin has a "proposition" for Luke. I guess this is where the medication to bring Laura out of her catonic state come in.
