and I am SO FAR BEHIND

and yeah - I know I should get off here and get busy....

We're leaving on Thurs, and we haven't even STARTED packing yet! We're going to try to do a little clothes shopping tonight, because I want to get a new pair of jeans and a couple of new tops. DH could use a pair of jeans or two. DD... I just pulled "summer" clothes out for her. A pair of capri's and a few skirts. She's so excited (although she just thinks we're going to Florida, no idea that we'll be at Disney World!)

So, tonight, I have to get home, make dinner, eat, get the house sitter over, go over things with her, go shopping at kohl's if we have time, get DD to bed, do laundry. Tomorrow - online check-in for flight and pack, pack, pack!

I've shopped for other stuff already - I have travel stuff, breakfast items to keep in the rooms, postage for Fairy Godmailers, postage for family post cards, etc. I just have to actually get it all in suitcases and add clothes! I think at least a half hour of my work day will be lost to making packing lists, and going over everything. :-o

ETA - AND I got my Mickey Heads. (Making them now!)

I noticed that all the park hours have been lengthened since I looked a few months ago. Freaks me out a little, but DS is a teenager, so we can do later evenings and EMH's instead of the early ones. Hopefully that will work in our favor. I know DS is looking forward to the 3am MK night.

We're arriving 2/27 around 8pm and then heading over to our ADR at 'Ohanas!

Staying at POP 2/27 - 3/5

We've got a "Farewell ADR" at 'Ohana again on 3/4th.

We kinda, sorta love us some 'Ohana!


Hoping the crowds won't be much worse than our Fall trip (September 21st-27th)

4 days to go! Feeling a little stressed right now. I just know I'm going to forget something important. Just transferred all our ADR conf#s into my cell phone's memo pad (really wishing I had a smartphone right about now). I have most of the clothes packed, and I'm trying to think of all the other stuff I will need. Chargers and batteries and books, oh my!

Yes I have. Thinking thank goodness this is not our first trip and we will be back in 5 months if we miss something this trip.
Hopefully by using EMH's, park hoppers and FP's we will be fine.

Us too! If your phone has a camera, I find taking a picture of your confirmation# works well too.

While I am super excited my Giants will be in the SB, I now have double reservations nearly everyday so we can make the MVP parade IF one of my guys gets it and IF they have it Monday at MK.

Great "problem" to have!

We received our Mickey Mail today! Question though. I thought I'd read that ME tags and package stuff were coming together now. We didn't have anything regarding Magical Express. Should I call? Or could it still be coming separately? Since it's our first trip, I just want to be sure I've covered everything I can for a smooth vacation. Woohoo, I'm excited!!

We received our Mickey mail at 27 days before our trip, and we got our booklet of coupons & info and our Magical Express tags all together in one package. Are you sure you set up Magical Express? I'd call Disney and ask about it.

I mean the team has to come home so they can do the ticker-tape parade in NYC first, right? Or is WDW first?

Happy February to you Rocketear and to everyone celebrating their upcoming trip! Almost there...Ill be driving down, leaving on the 24th - staying with a friend in Jacksonville on the 25th and up early on the 26th to check in at POR!!! My kids give me the countdown every morning - as soon as they wake up- like, eyes still closed and half awake but they know how many days are left until we depart this frigid and cold NY for Disney!!!

I don't think they announce anything until after the game is over. Last year it was just the winning quarterback at MK on Monday. I don't think he was there too long. We didn't go, but we saw lots of cheese heads heading that way.

We have the same "problem" as you, only we are hoping the Patriots will make it to a parade at the MK in their honor! Good Luck on Sunday.
