Checking in for Feb. 2012 confirmed POP guest. It is my 30 something self this will be my 5th trip to the world) and my travel friend who has never been my token first timer. Its 66 days away I cannot wait!!!

Anyone know if there is no longer going to be a electrical parade on Feb 6 at MK? I read on a few sites before that that was the only date they were offering it the week I'm going, but I was checking the calendar today on Disneys website and on my Iphone App (undercover tourists) and it's not listed at all during my stay now.

I just checked my iPhone app Undercover Tourist and it's listed for Monday 02/06 at 7pm. Maybe try rebooting your phone?

ETA: I just checked a second time and there's also another one on Thursday 02/09 at 7pm.

We, DH, twin sons (turning 7 during our trip) and myself will be heading to WDW on 1/29/12 until 2/4/12. It is our (mine and DS's) first trip as well as a surprise for their birthday.

I am truly enjoying planning for this trip and can't wait to actually spring the news on them. I've told them that we will take them when they are "8" in 2013 and they seem to be accepting that as why I am always reading Disney travel books. Hopefully I can hold out and keep it a surprise!!!

We are staying at POFQ.

Totally agree! I started at 289 days and am now down to 57. Can't believe how fast the summer went by. Hoping Dec/Jan goes just as fast My big Christmas gift is the Disney trip, so lets get on with it!

Getting closer!!!! ADRs made and trip paid off, but starting to worry a bit about crowds. We are going 2/16-2/28. I expect crowds around President's Day, but just realized the Princess Half Marathon is going on the second weekend we are there. How much dos the marathon affect crowds? Should we avoid Epcot and MK Saturday and Sunday?

OK, I am back!
We are booked and good to go.
Our dates are Feb 6 to Feb 24. We also have a cruise on the Dream(Disney Dream that is) leaving Feb 19. We will be staying at the WorldQuest until the eighteenth. Not sure about the eve of the cruise though. Since we are renting a car at mco, we may stay that night at the hyatt mco. I have read you can check in with dcl at mcothrough the hyatt. Though because we are Canadian I am not sure we can do this.

Just booked a surprise mother-daughter trip for Feb 11-16! Both mother and daughter know about it... the surprise was for DH when I told him I was going!

We're staying at CBR (a first for us) and are taking advantage of free dining again - YAY! LOVE free dining!

Now I have just 61 days to obsess about ADRs. That's cutting it short for me, but both DH and mom will be happy to not have to hear about it for 6 months again.
