I will be in hoping to jump in around 7pm EST...I truly hope this show doesn't get political, it just ruins the show for me and feels like a one trick pony (and I am not a fan of either side). I will be turning it off if it starts to go off the rails.

I saw the movie and he was very, very good in it. So much so, I could not have pictured Spacey (pre- or post- perv revelations) in the role. Christopher Plummer is a darn good actor, so I wasn't surprised.

That's good. I'm glad the nomination is deserved and not a message being sent. It's one thing to dress up for the Red Carpet or the event in all black to make a statement. It's another to use the nomination & wins for awards something other than they were actually intended to be used.

The Red Carpet starts on NBC an hour later than on E! But, all the dresses repeat as the stars make their way down the Red Carpet, so no one misses anything. And usually, it's a heads up on a dress to be on the look out for when we start saying, "Did you see ____ in that dress?"

Yeah, this one always catches everyone by surprise. I was watching something for New Years Eve and saw some blurb about this and thought, "It's on next week?"
