We've been in early December many times. The crowds aren't bad, they're not the best either, somewhere in the middle. That first week has been POP Warner cheerleading and football week for years now. This year it looks to be pushed off a little from the 6th to the 13/14th (Cheer and football). The kids tend to staying in the value resorts, so plan accordingly. Competitions are usually all day long and many teams will hang out at the venue, meaning the kids won't overrun the parks until evening. Families tend to tag along and will be in the parks, so you will see a drop off in attendance toward the end of their competition as they all head home.

What may be different this year is with the opening of the new SWGE land I think many folk have arranged their visits to coincide with both the holiday festivities and the "end of fall" timeline that Disney first announced (it was moved up to Aug 29 if you've been hiding in a hole ). It may be a bit busier that usual due to this. If crowds stress anyone, I suggest taking advantage of the luls - try to do the opposite of what everyone else is doing and you should have a good time.

Now that we are all settled in over on this side, let's talk ADRs! The first batch on the roll call can start making reservations on June 1, which is only 10 days away.

What ADRs does everyone have planned? Any new places you are excited to try or favorite repeat restaurants?

After looking at my son’s school calendar, we added a day onto our trip and will now be arriving on the 2nd. Now we need to figure out if we want to do MVMCP on our first full day, Tuesday or our last full day, Sunday.
