I'm brand new here, but I just booked my Nov 28-Dec 5 2015 Trip. I am SO stinkin' excited!!!

This will be my 6th trip, my son's 4th, and my husband and daughter's 2nd. We're staying at Port Orleans Riverside with 5 day park hoppers plus, fingers crossed, Mickey's Christmas Party. Woo-hoo!



ETA: Actually, looking at my stats, I guess I'm not brand-new. I must have posted something when planning our April 2014 trip. LOL

Has anybody else started Pre-Trip Reports for their December 2015 trips yet? I would like to add a section in the beginning of this thread with links to folks PTRs, but I don't want to be the only one!

I have been thinking about writing a Pre-trip report. I have read plenty, I'm wondering if I have enought to say or if I will be able to finish what I start
My DH is also not a fan of me posting pictures of our children on the Internet so their cute faces would be blocked.

Hey everybody! Happy to have found a December 2015 group! We'll be at WDW from Dec. 1st - 6th with 5 park days. We're currently booked at Pop, but I'm REALLY working on getting the hubby to let me switch it up to the Wilderness Lodge when discounts come out! It's my Christmastime dream to stay at the WL over the holidays... and since this may be the last time we get to do Disney at Christmas for a LONG time, I'm hoping *my* plan comes to fruition!

I ran the Wine and Dine this year and LOVED the holiday decorations that I saw... and I knew that there were many decorations that were not up yet and was missing out on! And I knew I just had to bring my girls down to Disney to see it all too! My 6 year old told me that the next time we go to Disney, she wants to be surprised (like she was on our 2nd trip) so I've already been laying some groundwork for that! Can't wait to SURPRISE my girls!!! Next December is just too far away!

She's so funny... when we surprised them back in April 2013 I came up with this huge elaborate scavenger hunt that even took us 45 minutes away to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Needless to say, she LOVED it! So she tells me, "Mom, the next time we go to Disney I want you to surprise me and make it a scavenger hunt!" Silly girl... the moment you know we've got a scavenger hunt you'll know what's up! Gotta think of something else!

I won't argue with that!

I've never been to Disney World to see the Christmas decorations!

I have no idea where we'll stay -- we usually stay value / moderate -- or when we'll go! I have to find out my oldest daughter's nursing school schedule for the Fall semester before I can book our room and set our dates.

Right now, I'm looking at December 15th through 22nd. But that's just a guess!

We've already changed our dates!

After seeing the horrific holiday crowd pictures yesterday, we've moved our trip up to December 1st through 11th!

Hubby upgraded us when we called to change our dates! Now staying at POFQ -- 1st time!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I can't wait for park hours and things to come out so we can really start planning now!

We just kept thinking yesterday how this time next year we will be just back from Disney. It's going to make the presents under the tree a lot lighter but I think it will be an amazing trip! The only one I worry about is my son since he's 7 (DD will be 11) as far as not being happy with his presents but we'll pick up a couple of things here and there for Christmas so that they each have a couple of things to open Christmas morning. They've been asking for the Lego Death Star for 2 years so that may end up being their combined Santa gift next year and then a couple of small things from us.


Question for everyone -- do you do park hoppers or not? We didn't last time but we are thinking about them this time. Just back and forth on which way to go.

On that note, we've got some park hoppers and will be there from the 28-30th. Heard from some cast members we know that Magic Kingdom stage 4 closes by like 11am during these times, is that more true than not? We planned to do MK in the afternoon-night of the 29th but obviously will change plans if we can't get in. I've never had this issues over the last 20 years of going, but then again we've had annual ticket holder status.
