GO EXCITED - Hubby and I just decided to Book a December trip!!!! I am calling to book it this afternoon and then send out the deposit check!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!! I have always dreamed to go to Disney during the holidays and staying at Beach Club - my dream resort! I could not be more exited!!!! Might have to make some sacrifices this year and not do some things I planned on but I cant think of a better way to trade off

I joined the Facebook group but wanted to reply here as well. We will be there Dec 13-20 staying at an offsite villa with our timeshare. Really looking forward to a whole week at Disney, with a couple days of Universal thrown in.

I know what you mean. I have been listening to Walt Disney World theme park soundtracks on Youtube. I also watched the 2013 MVMCP parade and fireworks. I also just ordered the Planning DVD. We have so far to wait!

I was thinking of ordering it too!! And my trip is almost planned out, I just want to play with a new Disney DVD! I listen to the Podcast (both current & past episodes) while I drive to & from work. And I also keep playing on the website and rearranging where I am going to stay, which of corse leads me to YouTube and videos of resort/villa rooms.

I just booked our Dec 13-20th trip to Disney World . We are staying at POR for the first time and can't wait.

Now to just patiently wait for Free Dining and hope its during our stay.

We will be heading back to Disney in December from 11/28-12/6. We didn't go in December last year....August instead....and I have to say, it just wasn't the same for us. We really missed the Osbourne Lights and the "snow" and the much more comfortable temps. Never again. Can't wait til the Christmas season again!

You couldn't have picked a better time to go. You will be awestruck by all of sights. And then you have everything else that is Disney. Even down to the decorations of the resorts.

Those are the dates our group of 11 will be there. ( 3 children & 6, possibly 8 adults.) My sister & I are going to be there on the 9th so we get a few days extra in and maybe some of the others may decide to show up earlier also. I think 2 of my nieces and myself are going to take a day and go on over to Universal/IOA. I haven't been there since the 1980's.

We are staying at Marriott Grande Vista, stayed there last time we did a WDW week and loved it.
We've been a few times in the past, I honestly thought our Disney days were soon to be over, as my kids are growing too fast, but, then I got my surprise baby, so now we get to do it all over again!!
A method to my madness? Perhaps... :
A little nervous, after reading all the multiple FP+ threads , but also hopeful since we have 10 months for things to hopefully improve for offsite guests.

LOVE WDW at this time of year, so magical!!!!

We will be at BLT the second week of December and then moving over to Universal; never stayed at BLT before but we love the monorail resorts and the Poly may be deep in construction at that time.

This is our 4th December trip and absolutely my favorite time to be there!

We'll be there first week of December, staying at OKW in a villa. Really looking forward to checking out the resort, because we're thinking of buying some DVC points there. I've already fallen in love with the place online.

Last time I was there was around halloween. Can't wait to see the place all dolled up for my favorite holiday.

Airfare is booked, too. Now to sit on my hands until it's time for ADRs.

Thought I would say "hi" over here on the DIS though I have been on the Facebook page for a bit. Haven't booked yet but it's looking like we will be headed to the World November 29th - December 6th unless some promotions prompt us to change our dates. This is our fourth time at WDW during the Christmas season and our favorite. I'm excited to be seeing it all again as it's been several years. Last trip to WDW we did Halloween time and had a blast with the Halloween Party but it just wasn't quite the same.
