I have two nights booked at full price at the YC before we move to our DVC stay and I'm waiting for a deal because it is too $$$!

I'm worried about the PIN that people have that has the one week blacked out. That's our week and I hope the general discounts don't have it excluded as well!

I'm sure it is busy that week, but it can't be THAT busy. It is still Value season afterall....

I bet you're right. I just thought of what I'll do, when I'm down in July, I'll see if I can apply the "bounceback" rate to my existing ressie for December. Or, I'll just cancel and re-book. I don't know why I didn't think to do this when we were there in May!

Hopefully they haven't removed that week in December from the bounceback info in the rooms!!

I received the monster pin today via email. Not that I needed it but thought it was cool to see what it look liked.

I wish I would have gotten the monster pin code. The only pin code I got (a week ago,) was for a free water park & more option, but rooms were still rack rate! We're only going for 4 days, and don't have time for the water parks, or Disney Quest.

Besides, I'd rather get a room discount!

So it's officially official. I have lost my mind. I just got the Monster pin code and I am looking at dates for December Ugh! I love the Christmas decorations, and now I have a 40% off code, what am I to do?!

DH and I are flying over from Australia to celebrate the festivities of Christmas between 1st December to 12th December (and a early birthday pressie for me from my DH)

Well...still no code for the four adults on our upcoming trip. Good news is we're going regardless and will continue to hope for one, just one! I called to change our dates from Dec 2-16 to Dec 6-16 and the CM was really great and checked all of us...and now for the PIN CODE CHEER:

I am soooooo excited. (its for the 40% off)


BUT!....... my excitement soon went away, I then noticed something. It has my mothers name on it, sent to my home address.

What do i do now???

Has this happened to anyone else, and what did you do.

Ended up calling and finding out the answer... I could have used it, BUT my checkin is on a blackout date. Oh well.

I received the monsters email... but I planned on arriving on a friday that is not part of the deal, and staying through a week that was part of the email. Do I have to arrive on a valid date for this to be used? I thought I wouldn't be able to use it all the days, but would be allowed to use it the last 5 nights of our trip.

From what he told me, I could NOT use this offer because my check-in date was on a blackout date. Even though my stay extended into NON-blackout dates. I didnt really argue the point either so maybe someone else out here has had a different result. If so i would like to know also.

When I first called to make res. he said "oh i see you have a PIN assigned to your name" I was like Then he said "sorry that was for 2009" then i was like

After reading this board over and over again wishing for Tink to sprinkle some pixie dust over my emails....I received TWO PINS last week. First let me tell you, we were going to Disney in December for 3 nights , REGARDLESS of a PIN, but since we are doing a cruise beforehand, I really wanted a little bit of savings. I received the "Monster Email", which I could not use and the "20/30/40 Email", which is what we used. We originally had booked a 3 night stay at Wilderness Lodge (standard room) with the basic dining plan and 1 day magic your way pass. In order to use this PIN we had to take a Woods View/Bunk Bed Room and still kept the dining plan and 1 day MYW Pass AND we are still saving a little over $200.00. We only bought a 1 day MYW pass because we are going to MVMCP on our first night there and then we will take a day to go around to the resorts to look at all the deco and finish our third day at MK.
All of the Standard and Wood View 2QN Rooms were already booked using a PIN Code. I am sure my youngest will enjoy the bunk beds though

I got the monster pin today in the mail. If we go though, our start up day wil lbe at least 3 days prior to when we could use it. I thought of a split reservation, but, I really want free dining. The savings would be much better.

Yes, you would have to do a split stay type of reservation. You could stay at the same resort, but you would have to make 2 reservations
