Well, I am a bit mad a Disney Travel this morning. I was reading the disboards about Pin Codes, I saw how many people got special offers. So I took the advice and ordered the vacation planning dvd, saved vacation offers and signed up for every Disney website and I actually got a Pin Code yesterday! But it was for get the "4th night free when you stay 3 night in a deluxe resort!!!!!!" If we stay at a deluxe our vacation will be very short! The email also said call about special offers for moderate and value resorts too.. So I did… I am on the phone for an hour and get a quote and I said that is more expensive than any of the offers I saved from earlier in the week!! She said really, I’m sorry, so I said is there anything you can do for me? And she says no… so I just saved that reservation and I’m thinking she may have put us down for the Deluxe Dining Plan which is more expensive which made it so much more expensive, so I will check later. Now I know why they don’t say how much you are saving with the Pin Code cause you are not saving anything! I even asked about free dining and she was like, I don’t know how you can get that. Dont get me wrong, she was a really nice woman, I'm just angry about being left out of these special offers. I want my family to be Special!!!!!

I also read that if you get any Pin Codes after you book your trip, you can call and have them apply the offer to your reservation. So I still have a chance…

So help me out folks... do I book now for November or should I wait a little longer??????

Hey Everyone! We are "hoping" to be able go to DW Dec. 1 -11th and stay at Pop Century. The last time we went was in Jan. '08 and we loved it! The weather was great and we thought the crowds were fine (nothing to compare it to ). Once again, we will be going with another family and we have a few quick questions about the beginning of December. First, how are the crowds? Are the wait lines crazy? Is Pop Warner going to be there? And if so, do they really make an impact at the resort? We are definately hoping for Free Dining and can you use your credits for "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas"? Sorry about all the questions, it's just such a big decision Thanks for your help!

I just received a pin for 40% for disney deluxe resorts and 45 % on deluxe villas from august 15 thru december 18, excluding the week of thanksgiving. And i must reserved thru october 9th.

Can you imagine 40% again for the resort hotels!!!!! I just reserved my hotel for next may with my 42% florida resident discount.

Pop Warner would normally be there during part of the time you are scheduled to go. On another thread there is debate on whether the pop warner contract expired this past December or if there is one more December left on the contract. Yes, the Pop Warner crowds do have an effect on the resorts at which they are staying.

Thanks Taylor, I did wonder about Pop Warner. The only reason we started to discuss December is because Splash Mtn seems to be always closed during January and into Feb, so we figured if we are to go again we want to go when most of the rides will be running.

We had already booked when we got our code, and I fwdd the offer to my travel agent, and she was able to apply it to our already booked trip...Hang in there, there is still time!!!

We are going during the time of Pop Warner week this year too. Luckily, we are stayig at the Poly so we won't have to deal with the Pop crowd if they are going to be staying on site as usual.

did you call reservations? guest services? just asking... we went in december for 5 nights/6 days and in august for 2 nights/3 days as well as once the year before and have ever gotten a pin code of any sort. do you have to stay at the same resort?

We are planning to go 12/9 - 12/16 and we are hopelessly waiting for a PIN... Don't want to stay at a Mod because of the overlap with Pop Warner, so we'd like to upgrade to a deluxe... If not we'll just stay on AAA discount @ Pop...

Waiting for a code here too! This week I got my first but can't use it. We are going in Dec. This was for book 3 get a 4th free, but only through 8/14. So hopefully I'll continue to get some more.

Question, what is a bounceback?

It's when you stay at the resort there is usually an offer available in your room to book another week at a discount. I am not sure what dates it is available for yet but I will know in 4 weeks!
