I may be a HOOSIER now, but I was born and raised in St. Louis. I've got two CUB FAN son-in-laws, and we live in the middle of CUB territory - but I will NEVER give up on my CARDINALS!!!

My mom is so excited she talked my SIL into going to Kiener Plaze for the rally before the game! I think she is crazy because they are going to have a 4 yr old and 10 mo old along for the ride!

How about your favorite memory of Busch Stadium or who did you see in concert at Busch?

Favorite memory? 5th grade, 1976 "The Bicentennial". I was a Girl Scout and we dressed up in Colonial Times and did a parade.

Concerts? The Who, Paul McCartney, and a couple of "SummerJams" ala when it was the VP fair.

I'll play-- right now it's better then the game

Favorite memory: sitting in the front row behind the vistors bull pen in 1985 (or 86) and getting to met some of those cute pitchers... I was a teenager so that made my year.

also my other "Mommy" favorite memory is that my daughter was taking gymnastics at the time and she got to perform on the field... I was a helper so I had an excuse to go on too.


Now back to the game

I dont have a real specific memory, just Busch is the place my dad and I really bonded...Cardinals baseball was the thread that helped us grow close together. He worked a lot when I was young and we didnt see each other a lot, so I just remember spending time with him at Busch and watching games on tv and listening on the radio to Jack Buck (the greatest) and Mike Shannon.....sigh...the good old days.

I hate to see the last game at the old ballpark end like this...what a waste of Pujols' golden opportunity! Who knows...maybe they can pull it out...but its starting to make me sick.

I still believe they can do it, but its killing me, Im having a hard time listening to it. ::sigh:: what a bad day all around.....kind of a bummer day for me.
