anyone remember the diamond veto?

maybe it was a season i didn't see much of but dick is talking about bringing it back and making the diamond veto one that if you win you could pick the person to be put on the block yourself and the HOH can be put up too.

It is "on demand" with Comcast here. You may can catch it on the CBS site too. I am going to go back and watch James tell Chelsea off! As much as I did not like James, I liked Chelsea even less and felt she deserved this. It was poor game play and pretty immature.

I am actually pulling for Sheila to win.

I don't think it's a conspiracy but I do believe BB sways things the way they want them. Sharon would have won HOH if the answer to that question was false and the answer very well could have and should have been false.

I did not get the impression Julie was pausing for dramatic effect. More like confusion. IMO It was not quite a pause, more like a stumble.

Why would it have to be false?

The truth of the matter is that no one knows for sure but why would CBS want to put themselves in the position of rigging a show? And if everyone believes that things are pre-ordained, why do you watch the show?

I want Shelia to win, too. She deserves it, in my mind, for going from the most unlikable character to a seemingly caring, likable one (especially to me!)

I did not say it had to be false, just that it should have been. For BB to say that two GP's have a relationship is really reaching IMO.

I have no problem believing CBS would try to manipulate the outcome of the show. They are in this for ratings. I do not think everything is pre ordained (if it were, I believe James would still be there) but I do think they sway when possible if they think it will improve ratings.

I agree the competition was fact or fiction and the tie breaker should have been the same.

I agree. If there wasn't an oppurtunity to go to a tie, the answer would have been fiction.

The only way the girls are going to make it is to win POV and then hopefully HOH.
I believe Ryan and Adam will stick together til the end. I will be okay with any of those 4 winning but I would much rather it be Sharon or Sheila.

Well, multiple takes are confirmed as we saw in BBAD with the reading of Shelia's HOH letter. Who knows what else is staged?

Luckily for them, there's not much else to watch on t.v.!

I'm pretty sure CBS has quite a team of lawyers that direct them in how far they can and cannot go. As far as if something is legal or not, I would have to see the contracts signed by each of the HG's.

I believe there are federal laws that prevent the rigging of game shows. They were in response to a case in the 50s werre a contestant was given the answers.

I think it's been called that every season. I at least remember Allison winning it on her season. Basically, it doesn't really matter who Ryan nominates, the person with all the power is going to be the veto winner. Ryan is the only safe one this week. So lets hope Sharon gets it!

Oh, and that guinea pig thing is the lamest I've seen in BB history. How stupid. She also clearly said STILL EXISTING IN THE HOUSE. So to me, that would mean not including people that have already been evicted. But of course they are speculating all kinds of things now.

I think it was great what they did to Natalie. Of course after she claimed her loyalty to the boys, Sheilla had no choice but to evict her anyway. Now, it looks like Natalie dug her own grave with that one, and she has no idea Sheilla was gunning for her all week anyway. Never give up HOH Natalie- didn't you learn that after Matty got evicted?!?!?!

You know, I thought the HOH where Natalie won was ODD. I mean all of a sudden Julie shouts "and we have a winner, Natalie"....I don't know but was just a feeling....all that raising of arms, left and right and what do you THINK that HG would say and true and false....confused the heck out of me and then the next thing we know is Natalie has won HOH!!!
