The Official Bachelor Thread ~ Deanna comes back!

Interesting. This will be her 3rd reality show -- I guess she can't get enough. My other problem with her doing this is 1. She is not a star and 2. She is a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, so she has a ton of dancing experience. I usually watch DWTS, but this puts me off a little bit.
A lot of the "stars" on dancing have a background on dance.

I was thinking the same thing about it being her third reality TV show. Seems to me she enjoys being on TV & maybe she is looking to become an actress/TV star. Maybe her heart wasn't completely into The Bachelor.

Maybe it was, but 3 reality TV shows certainly sends up some red flags, IMO.

I remember they had Trista on the very first Dancing With the Stars. I guess Melissa is just as big a "star" as Trista, if not more due to this fiasco.

The more I see of Jason, the creepier he gets.:scared:

I like Melissa and at least she's getting something out of the fiasco

Call me nitpicky but I agree w/ happygirl about the "stars" being in quotes
It's fun to see athletes and stars who need a comeback, but  I guess I'm one who doesn't consider K Fed or Lil Kim or Paris Hilton types to be stars

Glad Melissa will be on though

While Melissa may not be what most of us consider as a "star", she was probably picked because she was currently in the spotlight and available.

And with her Dallas Cheerleader experience could probably catch on quickly.

I think if "The Bachelor" opened doors for her she should go for it. And Dancing With The Stars is a great place to start. :thumbsup2

Anyone have the link to Jason's "single dad" web site?

TC:cool1:

Jason and Molly are on Bonnie Hunt today.

To tell you how ticked I was with ABC after this tv season (they cancelled my favorite show, Eli Stone and the Bachelor fiasco) I wasn't planning on watching Dancing with the Stars. With Melissa there, I might watch. I watch ABC minimally anyway so they aren't missing my viewership. ;)

the looks on Jason and Molly's faces when Bonnie asked if Molly was up for the next Bachelorette and that is what motivated Jason to do what he did, was priceless. :happytv:

I didn't get to see them on Ellen so I can't compare but Bonnie was loving and mean at the same time.

Just like anything else in life...jobs, acquaintances, chance opportunities, etc...these experiences led to more experiences. She's in the public spotlight, and it led to more opportunities in the public spotlight, and she took them. I say "good for her."

Bonnie was tougher. Bonnie didn't sugar coat just b/c they were sitting there w/ her.

He :headache: TOTALLY could not take it that Molly was going to meet
25 new guys! After Bonnie's direct questions it's all clearer for me. :happytv:

I agree, Bonnie was straight shooting with him, even with her last comment about old patterns are hard to break or something like that, as if he will dump her too.

And she did bring up the single dad thing too. That the mother is definetily in the picture.

I love Bonnie...and I am glad you all could describe it better than me. :thumbsup2

What drives me crazy is all the kissing and him always rubbing Molly's arms and shoulders though all the interviews he is doing. Like he has a point to prove.

I have nothing to watch Monday's now. I guess I could start watching Dancing with the Stars but that isn't my thing.

Hubby gets the TV back to watch 24. :lmao:

wait, what am I missing? What is the 3rd reality show? Bachelor, DWTS? Is it totally obvious? lol

No third one just Jason and Molly doing the daytime talk shows. :lmao:

Melissa has the 3 reality shows...the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader one (didn't see it), The Bachelor, and Dancing with the Stars (after TWO DAYS of practice). I never watched Dancing with the Stars before, but watched it tonight...kind of a fun show. It was great to see Melissa get a standing ovation and do so well, as well as the comments against Jason from the judges...one more chance to stick it to Jason. :thumbsup2

I always watch DWTS and I was glad that Melissa was able to step in a dance tonight. I thought that she did great and that she looked cute in her outfit. Her partner, Tony, is also one of my favorites ... but he has a "Jason" quality about him where it looks like he is only thinking about his partner and nothing else. I have seen some pretty strong "connections" between Tony and his partners and I HOPE that she can keep herself from falling in love with him too!

Carrie Ann, one of the judges, warned her to take the show seriously. They will shut her down and do their best to boot her off if she doesn't settle down. I think with the professional cheerleading background she knows what she needs to do.

Oh, and I LOVED when the audience boo'd Jason. *snicker*

If any of you are interested in following DWTS, come over to this thread:

yes after Bonnie said that about The Bachelorette, after they were all stunned, then he kissed her like oh so possessively ... in a he is claiming his territory kinda way and Bonnie was pretty pointed about worrying for Molly. was it just me or did Molly seem like she was listening to Bonnie more than Ellen? maybe Molly will think twice about trusting Jason blindly

FWIW, I will miss this thread! great peeps!! :goodvibes
