*** The Official August 2016 Thread! ***

I'm starting to panic and second guess my resort choices. I asked my husband if he's most excited about staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, the Poly or CSR. He keeps saying Pop......... Why do I ask him?

Now I'm going to see if I can swap out CSR for Pop. Somebody talk me off the ledge!!!! :hyper:

Wait ... I thought you were at PORS? :confused3 Or was that a few changes ago lol? :rotfl: Never been to CSR, but we do love Pop... sorry, I'm not helping;)

We dropped our bb in April when FD was announced and POR was not available for our dates. We actually booked Pop first, but by the time we upgraded our dining, we realized we could get CSR standard for not much more. So we took CSR. I was a bit bummed out initially, but as I researched, I got excited and I made my kids excited for the change too.

About a month and a half ago, a preferred room at POR came available for my FD dates, but I didn't go for it, because I had the kids all pumped up for CSR. Now, here I am doubting myself. There is a preferred room available at Pop for my dates, but in the end, it will work out to roughly the same amount of money. So, I think I'll just stay put for today at least.

I would stay put too. I'm sure you'll love CSR, plus the free dining is the regular DDP at CSR. I get how you feel though... so afraid we're going to regret not doing POFQ.

We are two weeks out! Haven't started packing yet but I'll predict we will do so by next week. Total irony is my husband has a last minute scheduled work conference in Orlando the week before we fly out. I joked he could just stay and the girls and I would join him LOL I contemplated it for a couple minutes, but realized with our plans hotel reservation, fast pass choices and ADRs that it would be too complicated to try to switch.

You have a preferred room at POR right? I bet you'll love it! If there is a fd bb, remind me to book a preferred at POR. Okay? :)
 Will do! :thumbsup2
Yes, a preferred room. Last time we were here (PORS, building 85) was 2009 between Christmas and New Years (just for 2 nights before Disney Cruise). I didn't even know there was a boat to DTD then!

Also one of those still changing ADR's, got two Ohana's not sure which one to keep, I have 15 ADR's scheduled, including breakfast BOG, which my girls are having kids meals, may cancel a couple due to not being able to walk midway thru the trip. We were just discussing, trying to eat a lot of salad and fruit at the buffets and leaving off all the carbs.. we have never had this many ADR's before. Hope I don't regret it. But next week it is going to be so hot, we need to stay out of the heat. I also saw somewhere that some days are down to a 6, anyone else heard that.
