The Official ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH! 'Leaving before June 17th' thread.

I was thinking that you couldn't pay me to line up with my kids mid-June to stand there and see a Mickey show in MK with the crowd and intense heat...ugh
Our last park day is June 19th
We will miss Frozen stuff
I am happy we do get to see new Soarin' and Star Wars fireworks (although I would have been satisfied with the older versions)
And on the bright side, we aren't in limbo anymore. Even if we weren't hitting that stuff, the news of Star Wars dessert parties being bookable for June and old Soarin' being available would have been enough for me.

I have been known to actually move our schedule up to miss the premiere of something big. I did that the year World of Color debuted at DCA. As much as I love new stuff, I hate crowds more. That said, I feel bad for anyone just missing some things they would have enjoyed.

For anyone just missing Soarin, just enjoy that old film one last time. I imagine the new one will be around for many years to come.

Soarin' doesn't bother me as much, because I've only ridden it twice in my life and it's been 3 years since the last time. So I'm happy riding the old version. Was really counting on at least Frozen Ever After being open. Made the mistake of mentioning it to the kids back when I thought it'd be open in Spring. :P

I'll cross my fingers that you stumble across a soft open. :wizard:

I'm like that too. Hearing that we will miss FEA was kind of like a weight off my shoulder.
I also won't wait in line for hours for anything (never see me camping outside an Apple store or Black Friday Wal-mart, etc.)

I told my 3 year olds we could meet Anna and Elsa again this year. I'm hoping they open up FP+ for them back at MK before June 17th so we can snag one.
