The *official and early* April 2009-Anyone?

We just got back two days ago. We went for my DD bday and are planning for April 09 already for a longer stay.
We were going to do April 4-12(but week before easter probably way too busy and more expensive).
Her bday is April 5th mine is April 20th. So we are thinking April 18th-24th. Thats after easter and should not be as crowded and rates should be lower?
But maybe we should start an April 09 Thread!!

We are tentative for April 16-26 2009. Likely POR, we loved it so much we are scared to be disapointed if we try anything else. We will be celebrating DH's 40th B-day. I gave him choice between a big party at home or a trip, and he had no hesitation, WDW!! We just got back from our first family trip and loved it so much we can't wait to go back!

Staying at WLV the week of the 19th. Can't wait to hear what the food plan will be like next year. Seems most people don't like this years plan from last years. We went last year and loved the DP, and will probably get it next year. We love Disney Dining!

Hey!! We will be there too We are planning on the Poly for Apr 23-30 and then to PBH Apr 30-May 3. I just booked airfare this morning but I probably won't book the rooms until July or August.

We are going 4/1-4/10/09, booked at AsMu, however, we are looking to change reservations to Coronado. I can't wait to go back!

Just booked airfare for April 8-15, 2009. Can't book DVC rooms until 7 mos. out, but am going to try for Vero Beach first part of trip, then OKW at the end. So I actually have 2 countdowns.......booking countdown and trip countdown!!!

Just beware, that week is school vacation week for much of New England and parts of New York. It will still be crowded and we will be adding 4 to the crowds at the Poly, April 17-26.
Also, I would think that the rates will be lowered on the 19th or 20th.

Hi! We're going in April 2009 too, 3rd-13th. It'll be my first trip to America let alone WDW and im so excited!!

We're staying in AKL so should be an experience. Just dont want to have wait that long though!!

DH doesn't want to go that week because of the Easter crowds but we can't take DD out of school and our AP expire April 30th. SO its go that wk or not at all. WWYD? Go and deal with crowds or don't go at all

Basically the same dates for us, and for the same reasons (except the AP -- ours expired years ago!). It will be very crowded, but better weather than the summer and no missed days of school for our DD! Made the hotel reservations, too early to even look up some of the flights from here!
