Josh confirmed the cheerleaders will be at CBR Feb 7-11....so we will not be. 99% sure we will do AoA. We watched youtube videos tonight of LM rooms and WL rooms. Now even I am not sure the WL rooms are worth that much more money. . The rest of the resort is beautiful, but DH kept saying, we will visit it. You can see the giant fireplace and the geyser.

Then, we discussed going to the Keys for a 2 week trip during his shut down in June or July and he mentioned stopping at WDW for a few days on our way home to break of the ride! I said it would be nice in July to go to the water parks and downtown disney and mini golf and he commented well we can't go without going to one of the parks!

Soooooo - I FINALLY booked our trip - yay!! March 21-29 (might change to the 22, depending on if we want to break the drive up in the way down). We went with CSR business class. Went back and forth about CSR and PO, but we figure we will probably be at PO in the future since it sleeps 5 and this will be the only time we can do CSR since our youngest will be under 3. A little worried about the size of the resort, which is why we chose business class and it will be a nice bonus to get a light breakfast and an adult beverage at the end of the day. Still have to add the dining plan if we decide to; and right now we just have base tickers. Trying to decide if we want hoppers or not. With the ages of our kids we always have plenty to do at one park a day, but since we are going during spring break wondering if we will like the flexibility if hoppers just in case.

Question about magic bands - I know the system isn't in place yet for all guests, but I see people posting about they picked their myocardial bands (the colors I guess?!). So, now that I have a reservation, do I do that? Or is it only if you are asked to participate in FP+? Don't want to end up with gray, lol!

I'm pretty sure you pick them at 60 days out. I've got that marked in my calendar, I so don't want grey.

I know we're not updating the main post anymore but I figured I'd update you guys anyway. We're changing resorts, yet again. There's some RL housing stuff going on and the vacation budget took a hit. The plan was to stay in this house another 4 years or so but we're starting to see how unrealistic that was. We're outgrowing our space way too quickly and we've really only got another 2 years before it's just too small for all of us. The choices were value or put the trip off a few years, I chose value.

So new plan: POP or AoA Little Mermaid Jan 27th-Feb 3rd. AoA won't be eligible for the discount but it will give us access to the Cozy Cone pool which I know DS would love. I'm trying to stretch the budget to get a Cars family suite but I'm going to have to cut a lot of the extras to fit it in. I don't know if the LM rooms would be too "girly" for DS. Pop is the best choice on paper but it's just not calling to me the way AoA is. I'm not making any phone calls until it's time to put discounts on in October, the last call to Disney cost me $23, so I guess I have some time to decide.

Thanks The kids have no idea, some of those clothes and some other vacation stuff will be waiting for them under the tree Christmas morning. The trip is their big, big gift this year.

I havent called to change yet, but today we were talking about doing HDDR and eating at Trails End since it will be easy to get to. It still depends on any discounts that come out, but fingers crossed!!

The resort debate is done, LM room for the full week. I called and changed it this morning. I moved my Ohana reservation to a better day again, I swear I've had a dinner booked for every day of our stay at one point or another.

So there's nothing left to plan for the 2014 trip. Very little to plan for the 2015 trip at this point, the basics are already decided. I've moved on to 2016! 2016 is my year! Halloween at Ft. Wilderness and a 10 day stay so we can do MNSSHP and MVMCP in one trip. The kids will be old enough by then to stay up late so that party tickets will be worth it. Anyone who doesn't want to camp with me can stay home.

Bummer about not being able to go next year. Hopefully you will be able to save up enough to go in 2015. At least you can still keep planning and looking forward to your trip coming up for Christmas.
