~*~The OFFICIAL 2014 Dates Thread - Come Join Us!~*~

We're heading down January 2nd-January 8th.

We did Universal last year (for a day)...but this year we're spending all that time in Disney.

So excited! Helping two first time visitors celebrate their 40th anniversary!

Cannot wait :):cool1::cheer2:

...now to frantically check refurb schedules until we're there....

Question for you all. With the packages now available for 2014 (except for the month I want to go :( )Do you think if I requested a planning kit/DVD now, would I get 2014 or still get 2013?

I actually enjoy watching the DVD's. But nothing will top the year when they had 4 distinctly different people doing the parks their own way. That was just fun. 1 of them even went on to be a Power Ranger.

Well... I got my answer. The planning kit arrived yesterday, and it was for 2013. No PIN inside, either.

I guess I'll wait another month or 2 and send for another 1, hoping to get 2014 kit and a PIN. pixiedust:

I posted on the facebook page and I'll add here - I'm still not out of the question for a 2014 trip :cool1:
I created a Disney addict in DH and lately everytime someone talks about ghosts he starts singing the Boo to You parade song. He mentioned he wants to return at halloween time and I said we'll it will probably be 2015 then (Halloween/Christmas trip - no August like we thought for next year originally - had enough of the heat and summer crowds last week!) next thing I know, he says. well we'll have to see how my vacation works and maybe we can swing it next year still :cheer2: (he starts a new job next week so we'll know more soon - if so I want to book and start paying on it!)

Thank you! I planned the past one in such a whirl wind and everything came together now that I worry if I have to much time to plan...:rotfl:

Besides that, DD is starting kindergaten Monday and then DS is moved up to preschool in 2 weeks - a lot of new and exciting changes going on for us...:goodvibes

Got my hair cut and colored today and the salon's receptionist got engaged at Disney a few weeks ago. She, her family and boyfriend went to celebrate her graduation and the boyfriend had set up a surprise with Belle in Epcot. So the parents were able to video it and gets tons of pics. It was very cute and she was shocked! She said they are planning to honeymoon there.

Tomorrow is ADR day!! We each picked two TS. Mine are Be Our Guest and a pre-park Crystal Palace. DH picked Yak&Yeti and Chef Mickey breakfast. And then I added in a Boma dinner just because. :goodvibes I might do Hoop de Doo too, but I really want to know park hours before booking that.

Got everything I wanted on the day/time I wanted.......except Yak & Yeti. :confused3. Didnt expect that one to be my issue. :rotfl2: The only available time is 4:45. I booked it, but I am wondering if it is a glitch or something didnt get loaded right, so I will check again in a few days. And DH agreed to Hoop de Doo. :cool1: Now to just figure out where we will be sleeping. :scratchin

Wow - was also planning on Yak and Yeti but not sure of when (also waiting for Feb calendar:confused3) so have not made that reservation yet. Oh well - we shall see.

We also plan on Hoop de Doo and made that reservation. We are treating daughter, her husband and grandchildren so did not put on dining plan and was surprised to see the cost already put on my credit card - not as a hold but as a full charge. In past - I had not seen this. When I called I was told that this is how they do it now?

If you call, they can give you the park hours. Hopefully they will be posted soon!! For my week, AK closes at 5 everyday, so I guess there arent any Y&Y reservations after that??

We are going 1/23-1/30!!! We will be celebrating our 10th anniversary and were able to get reservations at Be Our Guest!!! We are staying at POR for the first time and are truly excited. Our 4 year old daughter will love the Royal Guest room with princess decor.

Good luck getting all your ressies!

So Yak & Yeti is not owned by Disney... It could be their dates are not loaded or could be like TREX where you just need to call..... Good luck!

Yeah, I believe Yak & Yeti has the same parent company... I just can't recall the name :)

Landry's. That makes sense. :thumbsup2. We are fine with the 4:45 anyway.

Decided to do WCC instead of HDDR, but that may still change. And adjusted our Chef Mickey to 8:30. Getting there at 8:00 just seemed too early. :lmao: Now just need to decide on dessert party and I think I am all set. Only 178 days to wait..........

Did you try the QS from Yak & Yeti?

So... 170 days out, and the countdown is REALLY starting to sink in! in just over 5 months I'm be soaking up the magic goodness. It sure doesn't help my anxiety that my one friend is currently in the world, and keeps posting vlogs on his adventures! :3dglasses Still need to make my ADRs, buy tickets, and get our dining plan. Nothing too big... lol:lmao:

Super excited to announce that after a failed attempt last December to get to WDW.......we are OFFICIALLY going in October!!!!

My son is doing his 2nd time on the Disney College Program and we are finally getting the chance to see WDW for the 1st time!!!

We are going October 8-12....4 nights and 3 days in the parks. We are traveling from Oregon.....so the travel days will be long....so we figured not hitting the parks on these days would work out best for us.

We will be staying at the All Star Sports because it was the only value rooms left. I'm alright with the sports theme since I love football & baseball!! We are aware that the food court is closed for refurb....but that's ok.....we pretty much would just want the grab and go & drinks from there and it sounds like that is being offered in the arcade. So we're set!!!

Has anyone started a Feb 2014 thread?
I can't find one. Anyone renting a car?

Even the stuff we do know turns into an argument based on speculation.:rotfl: I've been following them for those few pieces of info from the people testing and trying to ignore the spec for the most part.

I might have missed it, did you decide where to stay yet?

Waving at you from the other side of Lake Erie.:wave2: I've lived here my entire life and I haven't been swimming in it in years. I know you can and plenty of people do but it grosses me out.

I was running the potential 35% discounts and I found out I could upgrade to a 1bd at BCV or BWV for only a few hundred more than the standard room. Food on that leg of our trip is paid for OOP so having the full kitchen would come in very handy but it would mean putting the kids on the sofa bed. Has anyone slept on one? Would they be comfortable enough for a 5 and 3 year old?

Hey I live on the other side of Lake Erie in Canada. Hiiiii :-)
