Hello Fellow Planners, I was out of town and got behind. Glad to hear everyone's plans are coming along.

We are booked at CBR in a king bedroom and we are renting a car. DH liked the theming there, but I said double beds and 7 bus stops. He was not a fan of standing on buses last year,

Your DH sounds like mine. Since we bought in BLT, I know call him a transportation snob. For our January 2014 trip we are split staying between BWV and BLT so he doesn't have to take the bus. We are skipping AK this trip.

What I was saying is the new technology in MDE and FP+ has the ability to make trips much easier to plan and potentially enjoy... However... On the new site I was unable to book any ADR past my 180 mark (on site guests are supposed to have the advantage of booking 10 days of their trip at the 180 mark) it had my resort linked, the calendar dates were highlights... Yet anything beyond 180 days would not be accepted online. I could have called but I wasn't stressing bad about my ADRs. This has been a basic insure advantage for quite a while and the fact that they still don't have it right makes me wonder how they are going to get everything else right.... Is that make more sense? Sometimes I forget you guys can't read my mind

I would say that this thread and the January 2014 are equally active. I love the chatter with fellow-minded Disney lovers, especially when the rest of my family doesn't get 'it'.

PLEASE (yes, I'm begging) read my PTR, it's very quiet over there and I love to discuss my plans with people! Especially those who have been more than I have (only twice).

I will be sure to check it, we are going in January too.

My thoughts exactly! I quit trying to keep up with it when I saw it was mostly speculation and not much else.

Even the stuff we do know turns into an argument based on speculation. I've been following them for those few pieces of info from the people testing and trying to ignore the spec for the most part.

I have got to make my reservations! My DH can't believe I haven't made them and haven't been talking disney, lol! A lit of it has to do with this FP+ - I hate not knowing what is going on with it! We make ADRs but I hate the idea of having to plan when we are going to ride certain rides - I dot want to be that scheduled on vacation!

I might have missed it, did you decide where to stay yet?

I live very near Lake Erie DH fishes a lot - we make it down by the beaches and Maumee Bay State Park (love the resort's Sunday brunch) but I'm not on the lake much (and don't believe in swimming in it in this area). once the kids get a little older we plan on getting a boat for up here.

Waving at you from the other side of Lake Erie. I've lived here my entire life and I haven't been swimming in it in years. I know you can and plenty of people do but it grosses me out.

I was running the potential 35% discounts and I found out I could upgrade to a 1bd at BCV or BWV for only a few hundred more than the standard room. Food on that leg of our trip is paid for OOP so having the full kitchen would come in very handy but it would mean putting the kids on the sofa bed. Has anyone slept on one? Would they be comfortable enough for a 5 and 3 year old?

So I'm seriously thinking of changing dates/resorts again.... Potentially the last week of January in a 2bed if we can convince family to come... Are we crazy???

I really want to check out AoA - I think we would choose a Nemo suite as well.

We stayed there last August and it was fantastic. We stayed in the crush building right by the big pool with the underwater sound system. We had a great time in our suite. Both kids got their own beds (DD in the dining room bed and DS on the pullout in the living room) and they both said they were comfortable. We of course had the master bedroom and it was fantastic. loved every minute of our trip. I would go there and stay in another AoA suite if I could afford it again!

I texted my husband all day with 6 months from right now we will be driving to the airport, boarding the plane, landing, etc. So 6 months from right now, I will be eating dinner either at our resort, DTD, or MK. Ok that would have been better if I knew what we are doing on arrival night.
