~*~The OFFICIAL 2014 Dates Thread - Come Join Us!~*~

Oh how I wish the Mine Train would be open for our trip end of January, but very confident it won't be. Surely when we go back 12/14 it will be:thumbsup2

I think this weekend we are going to try to nail down where we want to eat when we are out there (248 days!). I love both the resturants in Japan, so I know that both of those are a go. I have a feeling that the bulk of our meals will be in Epcot.

Is 50's Primtime good? I keep looking at it. The last two trips we have eaten at Mama Melrose, due to the Fantasmic package. I would like to try some other TS there.

What is everyones *must* eat at TS in WDW?

CRT is a must every trip for us. It's more of a tradition than anything else. Just doesn't feel right if we don't get a chance to eat here. :) Really enjoyed breakfast on our last trip.

Brown Derby is another must. DH loves the filet and we like to get the Fantasmic package.

Le Cellier use to be one of our Epcot must dos... but it was very pricey this last trip and the steak was excellent but hard to stomach that cost (for every trip). Next trip I think we'll go back to Teppan Edo.

New Must dos from our last trip: Ohana and Chef Mickey's. Both were excellent. We loved the food at Ohana and the characters were great at Chef Mickey's.

Changing from POFQ to AOA Finding Nemo Suite -- the kids have finally talked us into it!

Dates have altered slightly -- May 2-8 instead of 3-10 -- hubby's college alumni weekend in St. Augustine is May 9-11 so he wants to spend the weekend there

Thanks!! :)

Excited to see that e new coaster is 40" height requirement - at least my 2 big girls will be able to ride. Wonder when it will open...

Hey everyone!

I'm back from vacation - did you all miss me? :teeth: :lmao: I meant to post here that I was going to be gone all week, but apparently in the chaos that was Sunday night, I forgot. :headache: Sorry about that!

You guys have been chatty, and there's a lot of updating to do to the lists. ::yes:: I'll get caught up on everything as soon as I'm able. :goodvibes

Our newest must eat is breakfast at Tusker House!

Seconded. 1 of the better buffet selections on site and GREAT character interaction.

Our other must do breakfast is Kona Cafe. Mmmmmmmmmm... tonga toast.

We are trying Tusker House in September! Can't wait!!

It's 3am- headed south to NC in all this rain.... Boo!

Grrr...oldest son's college released their final exam dates for Spring 2014 -- and they're a week later than oldest daughter's final exams! So dates are changing again!

Now arriving in St. Augustine for hubby's college reunion on the 8th of May and staying there until the 11th.

Dates for Disney -- May 11-17 -- AOA Finding Nemo Suite

On a positive note -- we've already booked our St. Augustine hotel! We called a few hotels yesterday and they were already booking for the 2014 reunion so we didn't want to miss out on a room!

11 months from today!! :cheer2:

Oh we loved our Kona breakfast too!!

We are headed down to Orlando on Wednesday - we will go to SeaWorld and Aquatica! A little bummed about no Disney - but I am really looking forward to the trip

A link for detailed, updated ticket pricing information (effective 06/02/13) has been added to Post #2. :goodvibes

So, we going in August 2014 so I don't have to pull DD out of school. Tentative dates are August 2-9. We're going to plan on AOA unless we can get a decent discount somewhere else.

I'll get your info changed. :goodvibes

You can change my dates though. Feb 7-15. I am pretty sure those will stick.

I'll update the list for your new dates. :teeth:

4 nights at BLT and 3 nights at an Epcot resort... Yaaay! right???? So I go and plug in the first segment of out trip - and guess what MK view is available!!!!!

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

So 4 nights with an MK view... Right now it shows availability for the last 3 nights at BWV in a garden or pool view - hopefully I can book that and waitlist it for a Boardwalk View :) If not we will try for the Beach Club and then either WL or OKW. DH really wants to try for WL in December and spend a whole week. He likes the "Wilderness" part of it :)

:woohoo: for TPV! This is for the January trip, correct? I'll wait to update you until I know for sure, then list you with BLT for the 1st half, and the 2nd half I'll list as TBD. When you know where you're staying for the second half, just post and let me know. ;)

We are back on for March 1 - 8, 2014 at POR. My DH and I could not wait until November to come back home to Disney. :cool1::cheer2::yay:

Now just to keep it a secret from our DSs. Our oldest thinks we are going in December 2014; he is going to be so surprised since his birthday is in March (So is DH's). :upsidedow

I just love Disney surprises. pixiedust:

You moved your trip up 8 months? :yay: Great news! I'll get you taken off the November list and add you to March.

All registered for the Princess half marathon! princess: Now just having to wait for the rates. Hurry up all ready. :cheer2:

I'll add the PHM to your listing - good luck to you! :cheer2:

Taking our two year old for his first trip and celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary!
Staying offsite this time at my dad's timeshare. Soooooooooooooooo EXCITED!!

I will get you added to the September list. :goodvibes

Hi everyone! Our 2013 vacation is over.

So that means we are moving on to planning on 2014 trip!!

As of right now we are thinking October 18-25 and we will be staying offsite. Not sure where yet because we just aquired a timeshare from my in-laws and I'm not quite sure how that works yet. Thinking maybe Bonnet Creek, if we can get it.

I'll add you to the list for October! :teeth: Are you planning to do MNSSHP while you're there?

We are planning a June 8-13 trip! There are 6 of us, so I'm looking at renting DVC points. I'm also hoping there might be some great package deals posted soon!

I'll add you to the list for June. Where are you hoping to stay?

Oct 23 to 31 or nov 6 to 14 hoping too hit food and wine and fall decorations !!

Once you decide on October or November, post again and I can add you to the list for that month. Where are you wanting to stay?

I'm so glad I found this board! My DH thinks I'm nuts for planning so far ahead, if he only knew! We'll be staying at AoA from May 4-11, our first family trip! Our daughters will be 4.5 and 1 :cheer2:

Welcome to the DIS! I'll get you added to the May list. You're in good company with planning early - some of us on this thread have been planning their 2014 trips for a year already! :)

--------------------------------

A big, belated :welcome: to all of you who are new to the group! If you have questions about anything, don't hesitate to jump in and ask. We'd love to get to know you and what your plans and ideas are for your 2014 trips, so join the conversation! :hyper2:

*whew* I think I got everyone who had changes to their existing plans or joined the group while I was on vacation. If I missed you, please post again so I can update and/or add you! :goodvibes

Long time since I posted...

:hyper:

How are your plans coming along? :woohoo: for less than a year to go!

Looks like the 7 Dwarfs rollercoaster is still proceeding well and should definitely be open in 2014. HERE is an update from AllEars

Until this last trip, I didn't have any TS I considered a "must", but after having breakfast at Kona ... it was pretty awesome, I must admit! :thumbsup2
