:welcome: to the DIS and to our group! Glad you decided to join us.

Do you have any idea what your dates will be yet? If so, please post them so I can get you added to the list.

If you have questions about anything, please don't hesitate to ask. :goodvibes

So DBF and I have settled on some dates for our 2014 Trip!

Sunday 2/2 - Friday 2/7, still at POR!!

We'll be using Saturday 2/1 and Saturday 2/8 as driving days (20 hour drive! ). We're staying short nights off-site the Saturday before and the Friday after our dates solely to rest up from/for The Big Drive!

This means at this time next year we'll probably be somewhere in North Carolina and halfway to WDW!! :cool1: :drive:

Has anyone made their room-only reservation yet? Now that I'm pretty certain about my dates, I'm itching to make it "official!"

Sure did - last week :thumbsup2

Bearcats sent me over. Wife gave me the go ahead green for our 2014 excursion. Leaving 11/20 and coming home 11/29. Staying at The Art of Animation. We gave our daughter a taste of Disney when she was 3 for 4 days as we went and stayed with friends. She talks about it everyday. Apparently "dad works to pay for us to go to Disney." I love the way she thinks but if she only knew why I really work. LOL Work sucks but you need the bucks. Well I'll be on a lot as Disney is my passion.

My kids say the same thing! That we work so we can go do Disney - so everytime my DD complains about going to preschool (yes even at 4 she's trying to get out of school!) I tell her well mommy has to work and she responds with "so we can go back to Disney!"

I'm still too far out to make our reservations, which is kind of good since I still haven't made up our mind where we're staying! I'm going back and forth, back and forth, onsiteoffsiteonsiteoffsiteonsiteoffsite ... ARGH! :faint:

Hey, glad to see you decided to join in! :welcome: AoA seems to be a very popular place to stay. We haven't stayed there, but I'm sure you'll love it! The theming is very cool. ::yes::

If you have questions about anything, don't hesitate to jump in and ask. :goodvibes I'll get you added to the list.

I also wanted to add that we stayed at AoA in September and loved it! I'll be happy to answer any questions (we stayed in the Little Mermaid rooms)

You can buy them anytime. They don't start to "expire" until you use them for the first time. And the ticket prices usually go up in August so buying them before then would probably save you some money.

Do they go up every aug? Has anyone bought from undercover tourist? Do they send them to your house??

We've -- finally! -- made a decision -- I think! :rotfl2:

The kids want to go in August next year and take my 13yo son's best friend on his VERY FIRST DISNEY TRIP! :goodvibes

They said that would be better than staying on-site...at any resort.

So it's back to Windsor Hills for us! August 15th through 24th!

Bring on the heat and humidity! :beach:

Not necessarily...you never know when the prices will increase. I'm expecting them to go up this spring when they roll out the Magic Bands, but that's just my personal suspicion.

Haven't bought from Undercover Tourist, so I can't help you there. We buy them direct from Disney about a month before our trip and have them sent to the house.

I got my tickets from Undercover Tourist for my last trip- they were great. It was a last minute trip so we got express shipping and the tickets right away! They are paper tickets, but can be added to your room key (or whatever it will be when you go!). I would recommend them.

How exciting! I love going with first timers - it makes you see WDW in a whole new way. ::yes:: I'll update your info on the list. ;)

We will be staying in Indian Creek again.

Thanks for posting this - I'll update you on the list. ::yes::

Well, since I'm no closer to deciding on where we're staying in 2014 at WDW, I'll share where we've decided to stay at Myrtle Beach this year! :woohoo: We're going to stay at the Dunes Village Resort. I'm so excited - it looks gorgeous! ::yes:: We'll be doing a two-day drive down with a stop in Asheville, NC on the way, then a two-day drive back with a stop in Gatlinburg, TN on the way home. We've never done a driving vacation this far before ... pray that we don't kill one another! :bitelip:

Sorry, I know it's totally :offtopic: ... just wanted to share my excitement. :teeth:

Dunes Village is nice!! We stayed there in December of last year for an extended weekend. Kids loved the indoor waterparks (there are two) although the youngest was disappointed it was too cold for the ocean!

You can't beat the location! Dunes Village is just a few minute's drive from Broadway on the Beach, and there's so much to do there (aquarium, restaurants, etc.).

Happy planning!

Crazy but we get to bump our trip back to Oct. 2013. Will know by the end of Feb.

That's great! That means you're that much closer to time for your trip! Are you still planning to stay at CSR? We need some details! :goodvibes

Once you've decided for sure, please post so I can take you off the list.
