Day 9 Typhoon Lagoon
This day we thought wed do a water park it was another lovely day and wed never done one before (Id been to Wet and Wild almost 20 years ago..) so made our way to Typhoon Lagoon and hey Free Parking!! But it was $7 to rent a locker!! Rented a locker Got a wrist card credited with $30 and found the changing rooms,Is everything so themed at Disney?! I couldnt believe it puts my Local Gym in the Shade!!!
First thing we jumped on the stream that goes round the park and did a couple of circuits Total Bliss Then hit the wave pool Hannah and I cannot swim that well we messed about in the shallow bit and the wave knocked me into her wherew she roughed up her knee I felt bad we then got some grub Kids had giant pretzels and cheese sauce,I had a Turkey drumstick..!! and Gill had a long hot dog A large Coke and a coffee it came to $23!!! Not much left on the wristband!!
We then made our way round went on the slides and stuff and had a great day Probalbly the best on the holiday Whod have thought a water park would win!!?
We then it Downtown Disney this place buzzes and it was busy, Onto Village marketplace Packed!! How much do Disney Make from Merchandise!??
Then we had Burger King for tea Hannah kept asking for McSlops so I gave in but just before we got there 6 buses had pulled in 300 hungry kids scared us off so BK here we come..!This was a a bad night in the hotel Ill explain there was a load I mean approx 150 Brazilians staying there all young men and they were despicable at nightime drinking shouting and banging on doors until 4 or 5 AM.Our attitude at first is they are on holiday and having fun But they were getting nasty and started intimidating people this night it came to a head a bunch got thrown out at 3 AM I watched them dragging their cases with Security with them I said good Riddance,For this alone QII has seen the last of me too
