Okay, I've never done a trip report before, so be patient with me and help me if you can!!
First, I shall introduce the cast for this trip: Me, the Disney loving soccer mom. Well call me DSM for Disney/Soccer Machine or Deal Saving Magician or Darling Sons Mom or whatever you wish. Next is DS15, (Smotch) who plays soccer, runs track, works hard at school, is an Eagle Scout and tolerates my Disney obsession as long as it means he can bring a friend on vacation. Lastly, there is DSs friend who is 18, (Kdub) attends the same school so he has the same time off and gets along well with DS. Unfortunately, DH has no vacation time left after all his scout training so it will just be the three of us this trip.
Here is how it all started:
Once upon a time there was a DSM who loved all things Disney.. Now DSM goes to visit her favorite place on earth - WDW - as often as she can, but it is usually only every few years because life and finances wont allow otherwise.

One day, she was checking her email and found something about an amazing 3 day sale on air fare, including flights to Florida. She jokingly told her DH about it, even though they had been to Florida recently. He surprisingly said, you should take DS15 and go over his fall school break. Well, this Disney loving soccer mom, could not argue with such a good plan like that so she asked her DS what he thought. He was very willing to spend his fall break on a journey to Florida and maybe even the Bahamas, but wanted to bring a friend to ride the spinning rides with. Now this DSM likes to ride the most dangerous and scarey of rides, but the ones that go around and around, just seem to make her dizzy and sick. DS15 called his best friend and asked if he would like to join them for an exciting adventure to the land of Magic and Celebration. He, of course, said YES!
But all good stories seem to have difficulties along the way, dont they? Thats one reason we celebrate when they finally make it to the happiest, most magical place on earth for their long awaited adventure. In this case, it was a rather short awaited adventure, but still greatly anticipated, non-the-less. By the time the decision was made to go on the adventure, the flights were difficult to arrange, and they ultimately had to GO on one airline and RETURN on another in order to get the best price available. But still, they were going, and at an incredible price, which was less than ½ of the great price they had paid on their last visit. Oh, I should also mention that DSM had received one of those 5X the Disney Rewards offers and called to activate it and ended up with an extra $40 in Disney Rewards for booking the airfare with it.
Will DSM be able to keep finding amazing deals?
Stay tuned......
