Getting ready for our trip. Packed up on sunday. We pick up the rig tomorrow. I even bought a blue tooth keyboard to easily type up trip reports. I am trying it now. Works great. The plan is to drive about half way on Friday after work and then finish the drive on Sat. Pretty excited about the trip, crazy busy at work and probably have to work some to keep up but it will be nice to sleep in and spend time with the dogs.

While packing i got my hat out and Yeti thought he should model it.

We arrive tomorrow!
We will be staying at the airport hotel tonight. I just printed our boarding passes for southwest and we got A19-A22.
I'm really glad they are all 4 in a row. Our last trip they were all over the place.

Hurry up work, it's time for Disney!

This week has been tough getting back in the home routine, but the pictures help!

I think most of us have the same feeling. We only make it to the Fort every 2 or 3 years and leaving is always bitter sweet knowing it will be a while before we make it back.

And I love your Avatar pic. I'm surprised @tiggerdad hasn't put this one in his sig yet.

Well the pre-Disney nightmares have begun. Last nights was that we were at our Chef Mickey's breakfast and as we were leaving I realized we completely forgot the autograph books. Does anybody else get these strange dreams prior to a trip? Or am I the only weirdo lol?

It's looking like the weather is going to stay a lot warmer than I was expecting and since it is cold here in Kentucky and we don't need our summer attire, I have begun packing the short sleeved shirts and shorts. The extended forecast is now up to our Fort day with a forecasted temp of 81 so I have washed and packed the swimsuits!!

At this time, we have visited all of the parks. We are now just kinda in roaming mode. I will try and share just some random pics that I have taken over the past couple of days. Tiggerdad........I think it would be cool if you and I had a chance to bring the Disboards down with picture downloads.

We spent the day at MK yesterday and watched a filming of part of the Disney Christmas Special. It was neat watching as it was handled just like filming on a movie set. It was Jason Derulo singing "Can you feel the love tonight" from the Lion King.

The gentleman in the gray suit is David Foster who recently produced the new "We Love Disney" album. He played the piano and was excellent.

And this gentleman asked this lady to marry him. They made their first commitment a couple of years ago in Disneyland and he asked her to marry him in Disney World.

We are leaving in about an hour to pick up DD at school and will be checking into our cabin tonight!!

JETS70, Love Love the pictures. We will be checking in December 5 for a week. Can't wait to go "home" again. Your photos really hit my heart. I know it takes time to capture a photo and then to post it, so I appreciate that you took the time to do it so often and so well for all of us. So glad you are enjoying your vacation.

Well needless to say my 6yo DD was very excited when we told her we were going to Disney today.


Didn't do too bad today with the flight and DME.

Never got the text or email telling me my cabin was ready so headed to the desk to check in. No one else in line. Of course as I was walking away from the desk I get the text. Was in the cabin by 745-750. My cousin, her daughter, her BF and a couple others came by for a visit as they live close by. Headed to Trails End to get some of the fried chicken take out. Sat at picnic table on the deck and was able to catch the fireworks which DD loved, we were able to catch the last few min of them on the beach. Back to the cabin by 10 and our luggage was already here. Our Garden Grocer delivery was not, was supposed to be by 9. Just as I was calling to see if it was at bell service they pulled up. He apologized and said they were very busy and running behind

Just taking a few min to wind down before I hit the sheets to rest up for MK tomorrow.
