Hey everybody!

Well last night and this morning I watched for the first time The Notebook and I absolutely Loved It!!
It was such a sweet and beautiful love story. :lovestruc If you haven't seen it, you've gotta see it!
But anyway, I was wondering if any of you have ever read the book? Is it any better than the actual movie about it?
Is it like, really good? If its a really good book, then I'm gonna wanna read it! ;) Thanks!! :goodvibes

Personally, I'm not really into the book.
I read it once, and while sweet and sad as the movie, the whole teenage love stuff was covered in a paragraph.
The first half of the book is when Allie visits Noah after seeing him in the paper, and the last half is about how their life is now in the nursing home.

The movie was better.

Nicholas Spark's is a wonderful writer though. I love A Walk To Remember, it makes me bawl. Most people don't like the book as much, but I love it more.

That is my favorite movie of all time.

It makes me ball everytime I watch it, especially at the end.

It's a beautiful love story, and I can never get over the kissing in the rain scene. It's just so romantic. :lovestruc

Not to mention Ryan Gosling is so amazingly hott, and Rachel McAdams is so pretty. I've watched that movie so many times and I never get sick of it.

i LOVE that movie! it's my favorite!

i'm almost done with the book too!

nicholas sparks is amazing and i love all his books!

HEY PEOPLE IT'S ON TONIGHT ON ABC FAMILY!!!

Okay, sorry. I got excited. LOL
Yes, I've read the book. I got it for Christmas, needed something to do in the hospital.
Personally, I like the movie more. The movie is more of a timeline of events, while the book is more of how they felt. The movie shows the beginning, where as the book doesn't. The book focuses more on the 7 years later thing.

My mother refuses to let me watch this movie, because she thinks I'l cry too much for my own good.

ITS ON ABC FAMILY TONIGHT!
but I am going to see Eagle Eye instead.

Anyways, I absolutly love the movie. I don't own it, but this one guy bought it for us to watch together. :goodvibes He kept it though :headache: oh welll. One of these days I will buy it. :]

This is one of my favorite books and movies of all time.

I love that movie! But it make's me bawl :(

I haven't read the book yet, but I'm sure it's better then the movie. I've read and seen A Walk To Remember, and the book was a lot better! Nicholas Sparks is amazing.:goodvibes

I agree Lexi, A Walk To Remember , although a great movie the book was just amazing. I would have to say The Notebook book is also amazing.

A Walk to Remember in book form was great, but The Notebook? Not so much.

The Notebook as a book was good, in it's own way.
It just happens that the movie was much more amazing.
Rachel McAdams & Ryan Gosling are adorable together.

lol. yeah i think my sig speaks for me when i say I LOOOVE THE NOTEBOOK!!!

such a sweet and romantic movie.
i definitley think that the casting choices were PERFECT, I can imagine that if anyone else would've been cast in the movie it wouldn't have been as perfect.

The Notebook makes me sob like a baby.
It's the only movie that gets me like that.
It's definitely an AMAZING movie. But the book isn't as good as the movie.

i want to watch it tonight...but now you all scared me!

im a pretty easy crier. and now i am afraid that i will bawl my eyes out at this.

OMG ITS ON ABCFAMILY TONIGHT AT 8/7C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
