I'll try to find the ebay site & send you the link. They had really good prices & lots of pearl cages to choose from.

Hi, Amy! I love reading about your plans! It all sounds like so much fun! I understand your debate with wanting to switch your days around to match Touring Plans.

I really hope you're able to find a pearl for your Cinderella cage...that sounds too cute! You'll have to post some pics for us to see!

Your ADR's all sound so good as well!!! I've never tried Garden Grill before, but now you have me interested!

Looks like you had a nice night out!:goodvibes I love Garden Grill we will be eating there on fri. I keeping hear about the cinderella carriages, but I have not seen them... I think it might be time for internet shopping!:yay:

Thanks, u r 2 sweet!
I will definitely post pics of the 'Pick a Pearl'.

Where have I been?? Our tickers are exactly the same and I see you on Queens report. Yay for chapter links. I am going back to read. Your family is beautiful. I turned the big 40 this year as well. I hope our plans overlap at some point!!

Great pics of the kids. Glad you and Hubby got some time away. We are also going to be at EMH at MK on the 19th and DHS on the 20th. 21st is our AK am and MNSSHP in the pm. 22nd is kids choice in the am and MK in the pm-always have to go on our last night. Thurs is DTD and then the unmagical express. It is a short trip with just me and the girls. Hope we run into you!!

We weren't able to do Sum of all Thrills, there was about a 45 minute wait and since the kids weren't tall enough we just skipped it. Looked fun though. We did the trash one, which was exciting for the kids and there were some safety testing they enjoyed doing as well. If your kids are interested in science-type hands on experimenting then they would enjoy it. We only did the one Innoventions, I believe it was the west one.

Amy,

I thought I would follow your whole PTR, not just the post I was mentioned. Again, I am glad that your kids so enjoyed the Mickey Mail. I know how much my boys loved it when they were younger.
I have stayed at CBR twice. I loved it there. I have been in building 51, which was just across the bridge from the main pool and also building 13 (in room 1313, if you can believe it) and that was just about a 5 minute walk from OPR and also really close to the bus stop. Friends of ours stayed in Trinidad South, or what I like to call Outer Mongolia. Now that was a long walk.
I wouldn't change your touring plans. The crowd levels are minimal and you should be fine. Sadly, that is the problem with the dining plan. Sometimes you feel the need to work your park touring around your dining. I am not a fan of the dining plan, but if it works for you, go for it. Because we are DVC owners, we tend to go at a slower pace.
I know exactly what you mean about getting stuck on the Creative Disign thread. I go on there looking for one thing and then I find 100.:headache:
Time for me to get back to work.........:surfweb:

We love GG too! I've got to find that site & post! They are cute & super cheap!

I forgot to add, that I checked your dates at the Doubletree using the mousesavers.com discount. It comes to $88.88 with taxes. Really not bad, considering you get breakfast for that too....
I have used Priceline "Name Your Own Price" several times, but usually for stays at the airport the night before we leave. I never bid for less that a 3 star and have always been very pleased. You may want to check out biddingfortravel.com for bidding advice and to see what hotels in the DTD area go for.

And, where have I been:confused:
I know what you mean about chp links. I do not have time to read a TR that has already started & does not have chp links.
Happy 40th!!! 40 is the new 20, right?
We will be at the same park on:
MK - 19th
DHS - 20th

I hope to run into you too & please say :wave2: if you see us! I'm terrible about spotting people, but my husband is great at it. I think I'm always in my own little world & notice nothing :). I need to get Brad on Disboards & show him everyone pictures!

I'm going to go over & read your PTR tonight.

My kids like doing anything, they're not hard to please at all. We will definitely try it out if there is no 45 min wait! Thanks!

I also want to do pick a pearl at Epoct :goodvibes

It does look like it would be fun doesn't it?
I'm going to post the link where you can buy different cages on ebay.

Thanks for stopping by. Lexi & Levi loved the Mickey Mail! That was just so sweet of you!
I'm glad to hear that you loved the CBR. I'm getting so excited about going! The 'Outer Mongolia' comment is funny!
Thanks about letting me know about not worrying about changing plans.
I will check out those websites tonight. My goal is to get a room booked tonight! We used Priceline.com the last time & got a great deal, so I will start there

Thanks for everything!

Day 5 – Sept 22nd

Today we are going to

image0484.jpg

Animal Kingdom

I am so excited about this day :goodvibes. We have only done two rides at this park: It’s Tough to be a Bug & Kilimanjaro Safari.
On our last trip, Hurricane Ike’s weather came through on this day. It was so freaking hot :furious: (even for a Carolina girl) that it made me sick & I had to leave. As soon as we got on the bus back to the resort, the sky fell! It poured rain all day. It made me feel better about being a wimp that it rained & we would’ve had to leave anyway.
The weather forecast called for 95% chance of rain everyday on our 1st trip & this was the only day it rained. I’m praying for the same weather on this trip. Not the humidity, just the no rain! :sunny:

We are going to have so much fun.:yay:
Our main goals for today are to ride:
Dinosaur
Expedition Everest (3x)
Kali River Rapids (10x) – I know this will be Lexi/Levi’s favorite ride already
And everything else

This is the only day that we do not have a dining reservation. And, I think I kind of like it! It will be the only day that we do not have to worry about getting anywhere on time.
We may also swim at our resort today and/or go to DTD.

This picture is one of my favorites from our past trip. I even had a mousepad made from the picture, so I’m scrolling on it right now.

Next Chapter: Day 6 and 7 Plans

Love the pic's, We will be at AK this day It's funny this is our first day of adr's, I tried to leave the first few days open. We will be at tusker house breakfast and then after that who knows. I think I liked your plan about leaving a day early so much, we will probably do the same.

I bet the Tusker House brkfst will be fun. I originally had a Tusker lunch reservation, but canceled it.
You better hurry & decide if you're leaving a day early, your trip is almost here!

 at riding the Kali ride 10x's. You guys may be water logged by then. That ride can reeaaallllyyy soak you to the bone, just one ride on it and Noah came off looking like a drowned rat! It will keep you cool though!:lmao:

The counter service restaurants are pretty good at AK. We have tried Restaurantasaurus, Flame Tree BBQ, and Pizzafari (think that might be all they have except for kiosks) and we enjoyed them all.

Great plans for AK! Maddie want to do Kali River Rapids, but not me! She'll have to bring Daddy on that one! I told her if she wants to go on it, she better wear a poncho!

The only TS we've ever done at AK was the Tusker House breakfast. It was pretty good, but not our favorite for breakfast. I really wanted to eat at Flame Tree our first night, but then I read that it's closed 8/8/10-9/24/10. Oh well. Next time!

I can tell you about TP's crowd calendar in about a week. :goodvibes I am curious too but do not have any direct experience with it. I have TGM too but they do not agree most days.

Oh you give me hope! We have rain on the forecast for the first part of the week--hoping it does not either!! A quick shower is fine but not whole days of it.

If you can find the time, you should definitely do Festival of the Lion King at AK! One of the best shows in Disney, IMHO!:thumbsup2
