We are Me-Mum (39) Dad (49), DS (6), DD (3) My Mum (67) and My Neice (5)
My kids are huge Mickey Mouse club house fans and my neice is mad about High School Musical.
All set to go and I have to have an emergency visit to the Osteopath as my back decided to play up, so an uncomfortable start to the trip but nothing was going to stop me.
Our journey to Eurostar was fine, and we changed at Lille which started great until 2 mins before the TGV left we realised we were boarding the wrong end of a train that splits so a mad dash with cases, 3 young kids, and my bad back but we got on with seconds to spare (I will do a seperate thread of how to avoid this).
We arrived at Disney station at 17.00 and headed straight for the Santa Fe, we unpacked and got the bus straight back for our 19.00 booking at Walts, I had requested a window seat so the kids could get a good view although there was no parade at that time, and this was granted. We only got into the park with 10 mins before our booking, which made things a bit hard on the kids they had travelled all day briefly glimpsed the castle and were then dragged into a restaurant for 2 hours, they were a bit miffed to say the least. But we had a great meal and promised them rides as soon as we got out. We were in the space themed room (can't remember the name) and used our HB premium vouchers towards the normal menu, it was delicious and the wine was very reasonably priced aswell.
We had not intended to stay late in the park on the first night but decided to try a few rides for the kids, we did the carousel, Dumbo and Pinnochio without too much queing and we ended up leaving the park at 10pm closing. So we all fell into bed about 11pm with alarms set for 7.30 breakfast.
I am still working on the photos so hopefully tomorrows trip report will have some pics.
