Me - worrier, florida lover, credit card spender and a big kid!
DH - credit card payer, non-worrier, level head!

Tues 13 June rain and storms from tropical storm high of 76
Up this morning about 8am. We had heavy rain through the night but it was dry this morning. All had breakfast and I went and booked an hour drive in a stretch Hummer for an early Fathers Day treat for DH. On our way to Race Rock one night last week we saw this stretch Hummer, which DH thought, was fantastic, so I went and found out how much it would cost, I was told $100 for an hour. I went back to DH and told him it was $350 for 45 mins (thought if he thought it was reasonable he might book it himself!) Originally I was going to book it for Thursday our last night but we managed to book the trip to Daytona again for Thursday and we might not want to do anything else that day (except for packing! Boo hoo!)
We then went to get the I-ride trolley to Wet n Wild. As we were waiting it started raining! Wet n Wild was great, loads of slides and a surf lagoon where every so often waves came on. DS went on a couple of the slides and then we went in the surf lagoon. It kept raining on and off and there were quite a few rumbles of thunder. What a day to go to a water park, well at least it didnt matter about getting wet!! The rain stopped and the sun came out, everyone started to use the sun loungers and then all of a sudden the sky clouded in again and the heavens opened!
DH sat this day out as he still didnt feel right but at least he didnt have to stay too near a toilet!! We all decided we were done so we got changed and had a bite to eat before leaving Wet n Wild. Back to the hotel and more washing.
When it got to about quarter to 7 we headed down to the lobby to wait for the Hummer. My heart sank when a few minutes later a stretch limo pulled in. The driver said our name and I went over and explained that it was the Hummer I had booked. He got in touch with his boss who told us that the girl who had taken the booking had made a mistake with the price $100 was for the limo, the Hummer was more and the Hummer was unavailable for tonight but we could have the limo for $50 for 1 hour! I was so disappointed but I stayed firm and said no as it was the Hummer we had booked. He said he would try and sort something out for tomorrow night for us and he would ring us tonight to let us know. So, bang went the surprise and the drive round in the lovely Hummer. I was gutted but I wasnt prepared to pay an extra $75 when the mistake was not ours.
After this fiasco we went to the liquor store, got some Smirnoffs and a few nibbles and went back to our room and watched the 3rd game of the NBA finals. Go Miami Heat!!
