Our kids are 4. On Christmas eve night they put cookies and milk out for Santa. At 9:00 we told them that they better get into bed quickly or Santa will pass us by. Boy did they scamper. My mother was here and went to tuck them in. Guess what she found? They had smuggled an alarm clock into their room and were busy setting it to 6:00 AM so they wouldn't oversleep Christmas I guess. Grandma confiscated the alarm clock so Mommy and Daddy could at least sleep in a little. I can't believe 4 year olds would be that devious...

That is too cute, One_Cat. If those little boys of yours could have actually set the alarm clock at 4-years-old, I think they should have been able to get up at 6:00. I hope the had a great Christmas :) (and I hope you, Wendy, and your mom did as well).

My dd doesn't need an alarm clock, but she took mine just in case. I told her, not before 8. She set the alarm for 8. :) The deal is they get to check out their stockings while I'm still asleep, but nothing else. lol
