The Night Before A WDW Solo Trip

.... is the longest night to ever exist in time!!!

I’ve just been double-checking my bags, making sure everything is clean, laying out my clothes. Looking over my plans and ADR’s to make sure I’m totally happy with them.

But the clock is just NOT MOVING! :p

That is this coming Monday for me, except my first leg is 2:25AM Tuesday morning....bus to catch my flight.

I just keep getting that image of coming into Epcot on the Skyliner, and now I probably won’t sleep... haha. I love the Skyliner. Then lunch at Teppan Edo that day.

My first night is sort of a progressive dinner thing that I do on the monorail resorts line. GF for dinner, then a monorail cupcake at Cont for dessert.

Staying off property, so a few minutes in a Lyft for me.

Next time post your alarm reminder time and we will all make sure you don’t oversleep & miss departure time!

Safe flight w no delays... R U in theMagic yet?

You started too early. If you would have put off doing all of that until this evening, time would have gone by super fast!

Some of us have to spend a month packing and repacking to decide what to take. I could technically be packed in five minutes as a former travel pro, but I am never sure what I am taking.

This is 100% me and it makes my husband absolutely crazy. He is legitimately the type of person who can pack in 15 minutes the morning of a trip and he rarely forgets anything noteworthy. I pack, then make a list (because I'm weird), unpack and check what I packed against my list, then spend several days mentally walking through park days in my head trying to anticipate what I'll need that I haven't though of yet. I'm a huge dork but I can't remember the last time I've gone to Disney and not had something I needed, so I'll take that victory!

I head out tonight for a trip. For most trips I can pack in 15 minutes no problem, but this one is a pain because Virginia is getting snow lately and Florida is the exact opposite.

Part of the fun for me is the planning. You should see my lists. And there's the lists from the lists. Then, the final lists, because things have to be eliminated and then added, and I will need my UV umbrella (which BTW, I got complimented on in Epcot on Friday), but will I need my sandals? These are questions I go over building up to the trip.

All part of the fun though.
