So, this is the first trip we've done to DLRP where we didn't have to get up at stupid o'clock in the morning! We had a lesuirely morning in which I sat and watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse ("Oh Toooooooooooodles!!") and we ate some croissants before our taxi arrived!
Our taxi arrived and we set off for the airport for my first ever plane journey!
We headed to our check in desk as soon as it opened, and were quickly on our way to the departure lounge. My Mum had very kindly given us some money to buy a meal at the airport to start our holiday off nicely, so we headed off to the Eagle Bar Diner for some food!
Robert went for a BBQ Burger whilst I opted for herbed chicken strips and fries... Both were very very nice!!
After our yummy food, I went and spied at our plane!
I got really excited at this point.... I was finally going on a plane to Disneyland!!
After a look around the shops, we headed off to the plane where we got on very quickly thanks to our speedy boarding! We got settled into our seats, and I took out my holiday reading (A book Robert recommended to me called 'Fish Show' rather surreal- As is his taste- but I rather liked it!). It wasn't long before take off, which I loved (I know that sounds weird but it was just so cool!).... We were soon in the air, heading for CDG!
I spent most of the flight plastered to the window looking at the clouds passing by, which Robert found very entertaining. I was more fascinated than the two year old behind us who was crashing a toy Easyjet plane into the back of my seat with much vigour.... I didn't mind too much as this kid was also very funny. He kept asking if we were flying when we were still standing still, then kept asking if we were in Disneyland yet. Then asking 'Now?' every 30 seconds until we arrivied. We were giggling our heads off as he was just so excited!
It wasn't long until were back on the ground waiting for our luggage in the terminal...
Once we'd finally retrieved it all (Robert's cow print suitcase is hard to miss) we headed out to wait for RS Transports. They were slightly (IE: Five minutes) late and I started having a minor tantrum as it was hot and I wanted to be in Disneyland. I felt very silly when our driver pulled up and said he'd tried to call but my phone was switched off! He apologised profusely for the delay, and we were quickly on our way. I loved RS transports and would definately use them again. A nice bonus was that we'd booked a shared shuttle and didn't have to share!
Once we arrived at the Sequoia Lodge, we checked in very quickly (With the CM behind reception finding my surname very fascinating) and dumped our bags.... Time to head to the Disney Village for some food! We went to the Rainforest Cafe (A firm fave of ours!):
After a very good meal, we had a quick look around the shops, before having a slow walk back to our hotel:
We got back to our room, and slumped on the bed. I went to run a bath, and when I came back, Robert said he had a surprise for me, which he did. A beautiful Swarovski crystal necklace I'd been admiring in the airport...

After a lovely soak in the bath, we turned in for an early night, ready for our first day in the parks the following day!!
