old age........still hard. His decline has been rapid this last week. Having the talk with DD when she gets home from work tonight. He is technically her cat, but has been with us his whole life even when she has been away to school

Gosh....that's exactly my "cat" story! Kippie is 15 and just suddenly got sick. Hasn't eaten for 2 days; labored breathing and hardly acknowledges anyone....except my son, Michael (26) who adopted her from the humane society on his 12th birthday. It was sadder for me to watch my son say bye.........
