They had him on the 5:00 news last nite, too. You must be in the Tampa Bay area.

I was really pizzed about the Bucs cutting Derrick Brooks. Talk about a slap in the face!!! Brooks only had one year left on his contract, and they let the most popular man on the team go??? Cause he's 36? He was probably the best linebacker the Bucs ever had & ever will have. 14 years on the team and POOF - bye-bye. The Glazer brothers are jerks, and obviously, so is the new general manager. I wasn't too happy about them cutting Warrick Dunn, Cato June & Joey Galloway, either. I WAS glad when they fired Gruden - what an arrogant azz.

I grew up here watching the Bucs in the old orange uniforms. Year after year getting our tails whooped. It was so exciting when Dungy was in there and we started actually winning some games for a change. I hated it that Gruden got credit for Dungy's team when they went to the Superbowl. So, I was not sad to see Gruden go. And now this? It stinks for sure. I cringe to see what will happen next.

People who really mattered in football knew that the team that won superbowl was thru Dungy's efforts and not Gruden's.

Remember "Tampa: City Held Hostage By Glazier Brothers" in order to get the Ray-Jay?? I loved the old Sombrero. I could see it from my office in the Tampa City Center. What a shame it's gone. Not enough sky-boxes.

Hey! I use to have one of those orange shirts!

You know, some people (not anyone I know, of course ) but some people thought it was that stanky uniform that caused them to lose.

As for Ray-Jay. . . *ahem* I won't say a whole lot since my sister works for them. But, I do miss the old sombrero.
