i'm sorry--I had to take the boys' to their dad's house for the week-end and then went browsing at the clearance sales at the mall. Didn't find anything there, tho.

Then, I stopped at Target for a few things (to clean house with---blechhhh) and found the neatest thing---It's a jigsaw puzzle of Mickey Mouse, but, its made of Disney movie scenes.

Too cute. There's also one of Walt Disney, but, my Target didn't have it. That's one I really want.

I don't normally do puzzles, but, for, this one, I'll make an exception. It's 1026 pieces and will be more than 2 foot tall and wide when finished.

Oh, yeah--I found some puzzle glue marked down, so, I am ready.

Maybe we can have a party tomorrow....if Ann wakes up in time.

Speakin' of cool Disney things...has anyone seen the Tommy & Kelly collectibles where theyre dressed as Mickey & Minnie? Its so adorable!!! I saw them earlier tonite when I was in SuperTarget. Gotta get it soon!

Hello! Slacker Poster checking in. Been trying to get back here sooner but first my computer was acting crazy, then somebody (no idea who!!! ) forgot to send in the phone bill and no phone= no DSL so I haven't been able to get online. Am thinking about changing ISP's anybody have any experience w/ cable modems? How reliable is the connection? Our local cable company has a nice package deal that includes digital TV and cable internet access so I was thinking about looking into that.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend and I'll talk to ya'll soon!

Sue, I may PM you for a steer towards medical info.........docs office called back yesrerday and said BTW your blood showed TSH on the low side of normal which may indicate hyperthyroid?! But I seem to have more symptoms of hypo (low) thyroid on some of the 'net surfing I've done. AAAARRGGHHH it stinks to get old More bloodwork Monday...and to see the real doctor instead of Nurse Prac...the doc is new since my old PCP left the practice

OK 'nuff complaints for Sat morning...

we're off to Maine to deliver DD to BF hot tub, i mean , er beach house
Depending how we feel we may spend the day and eat out, or come home........

Hi Shellie, nice to see you again. We have the digital/cable modem package from our cable company and love it, would not go back to the old dial up. We bought our cable modem, so will be taking it with us. I don't post much under my sign-on because it takes too much time to switch to Mrs.Milo, and then back again.

Hi Ann, hope you feel better soon. You're right, the only good thing about getting old is that it beats the alternative! And of course, grandkids!

We did our moving/garage sale this morning, so we are hot and tired. Hope you all have a great day!

Heh-heh-heh...

So, anyway, I decided several weeks ago to use those free week-ends earned staying at the Swan in the spring. Go online and book (that week-end I mentioned in Chicago and an upcoming week-end in St Louis). Today, I was checking my St Louis ressies at www.spg.com and noticed something odd....

Because I booked online, I was credited with 500 spg points for the Chicago trip, that was free!

Now, I wonder, will I get more since I booked the St Louis trip online too?? Seems like I would. Plus, since I actually booked it as two separate reservations (using a free Sat as one ressie and points for the Friday ressie, since I used my first free Friday at the Swan in June), will I get 1000 points? Can't wait to find out after that trip!

That'd be too cool. 1500 points earned for 0 cash outlay!

Gotta love the spg proram, doncha'???

But, no Starwoods property anywhere in Tn near Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge or anything, Only 3 in Tn, total. Odd.

I got my Starwood card in the mail the other day. I signed up for it just before my July trip. So now I have some "points".... I have NO clue what it all means, and don't feel like trying to navigate and read it all on the website.... but I liked bypassing the LONG check-in line at the Dolphin at 4 pm on the Fourth of July and stepping right up as ONE perosn finished at the "Starwood Preferrreed Guest" checkin. "SWEET!" said DD

Speaking of DD, took her to Maine.....it was a perfect summer New England day. Passed the airport in Sanford Maine and saw on the tarmac what DH says is "Air Force 2" but they call it "Air Force 1" when Dubya is using it......Air Force 1 is too big to land in Sanford. The Bush's place is not too far from where DD is.....in miles that is hehehe. Betcha they must have a hot tub too ....at LEAST one ! I guess our commander-in-chief is there for the month. ANyway, we spent a couple of hours on the beach but begged off dinner there and headed home.

I wonder what Teri & George and Savannah are doing right now? Nver mind....too jealous to think about it hehehe
