I'd LOVE to join you Debbie, but it's rush hour, and a 2 hour drive at best, and it's still 90 degrees.........so I guess I'll pass. I should've just left work at noon and come down then

Not looking forward to soccer game tomorrow at 4 in this heat. DD did get her name in Saturday's paper for playing well Friday despite a 2-0 loss..... it could have been MUCH worse. Varsity lost too hehehehehehe 2-1.

Gotta go pick her up at practice now. She should be in a FINE mood.....a Monday at school after a busy birthday weekend and a blistering hot practice. I have to pactice my ""mmmhmmm, uh huh, yes dear," comments and not get baitied into a hot-weather-crankiness futile argument about something dumb. LOL

PS.......Has ANYONE seen/heard from SideshowBob???????????? Should we be worried?? (or just offended that he's ignoring us??)

ummmmm...I would say.........offended

as for soccer and the heat it was awful. I just came from 2 back to back games. The JV started at 5:15 so it still hot hot hot and we had to sit facing direct sunlight. By the time Varsity played the sun had gone down and it was kind of nice.
You know its always so hot you melt or so cold you freeze and need to wrap in blankets. Never a happy medium...anyway both teams lost Mike had a nice assist tho and played 78 of the 80 minutes they play

where is everyone?

My sister e-mailed me some really neat pics of the Crane beach SandCastle contest, w/me and DD and the BF. But alas!!!!!!!!!!! Still have not conquered that web site upload thingie in order to post........

Another scorcher here......and supposedly a "poor air quality ozone level alert" or sumpin'........but NO cancellation of soccer ....... I'm bringing lots of water and some gatorade for DD.......methinks I will throw the BEACH umbrella in the trunk too!!!!!!!!!! That will keep me out of direct sun but I worry about the kids playing..............
