Hi everyone---hope everyone's day is going well. It's COOL here today yippee! overcast all morning and even now with the sun out it hasn't even hit 80 yet!

Last night after dinner we called the hospital hoping to get a "sure, come on up for a visit" but Madyson's dad said she was nursing and he would have mom call us back "in a few". An hour and a half later I told my DH..."call back, if we're not going now I'm getting ready for bed!" but when he called baby was SCREAMING loud and I guess she was having trouble nursing so we didn't get a visit last night. They're going home today, so we'll see what happens later tonite

Hello everyone! Been off the computer a little too much lately, I seem to have missed alot!
We (Me and Kevin) decided to join Mom in Saint Louis Friday night so drove down there in the middle of the night (left home about 2am). We had fun and want to go back when we have more time to explore. We had a little mix-up on our reservation ( which I had only made 3 hours before) and ended up w/ a great deal. We ended up w/ a mini suite ( a nice one too!!!!) for the weekend for one nights worth of points then when I checked my Starpoints balance after we got home the hotel had even awarded me points like I had paid for the room. So now I have enough points to go back for a little bit longer of a weekend!

Hi everybody or whoevers here!!

Jerry and I are playing 8 tracks on our old 8 track player. Got them down from the attic and they still work. So Jerry and I are listening to all this old music and singing a little. Justins friends come to the door and Justin walks out the door saying "thanks for saving me" Imagine that....he doesn't like our music
lots of good forgotten stuff:

Fleetwood Mac, Dire Strait, Eagles, Elvis, Waylon Jennings, Olivia Newton John, Gordon Lightfoot, Beatles, Bee Gees, James Taylor, Billy Joel, Santana, Jim Croce and many more we'll be up all night
my poor kids tho

I told them one day, they'll be sitting on their living room floor dusting off old CD's that were replaced by something better.....and annoying their kids

Yes Ann it was fun....we've got so many of them!! No time to listen to them all. None of Barry Manilow tho Gail must have had him all sold out!

Christine you must have had a boring evening at work...that is pitiful. Nice of you to call us motor mouths I thought that was funny.
I am NO better at bowling than I am at golf either....and the last time i bowled I was quite sore the next day

well guess what....some of you may remember me talking about all the annoying construction workers near my house earlier in the summer well OK OK SO I called them hot and tan and muscular thats beside the point

anyway they were lying new sewer lines in the ground to eventually attach to each home. Well they came to attach mine yesterday and discovered they can't cuz mine runs accross my yard and declines and where it meets in the road where its suppose to attach.....it is way too low in the ground. So they informed me yesterday that they need to replace sewer lines right up to my house ......translation..... they need to totally rip up my playyard....the one I use for my business It will all be at their expense including replacing the lawn and sidewalks BUT what about my business....this is going to shut me down for at least I don't know how long
unhappy new clients I'm going have.
The bright side......I do get a new lawn and sidewalks...maybe they'll wreck my fence too I was going to replace that next year anyway ....and I have one of those wood constructed play gyms that they'll have to move and my sandbox and OH WHAT A MESS I DO NOT THINK they are HOT anymore!!

Debbie, I was waiting to hear how many Barry Manilow 8 tracks you had. I think my sister had a few, way back in the stone ages.

YIKES Debbie! Is there any alternative "play area" temporarily? On the other hand, is there a window inside the kids can watch and "supervise" the construction from??...my little nephews could watch that kind of thing for HOURS on end ! LOL

I was really busy at work today...and while I wasn't totally occupied with that I was stewing over DD's soccer tryouts---while trying not to show HER my stewing - because she is handling it all pretty well and I need to relax and just let things happen. Thanks for your post on that thread Debbie

Pictures of baby..hhmm...DH and I are just heading out for a walk...we will walk up to target with my film. I will get one of those CD thingies of this roll and then e-mail the pics to one of you technically superior people to post......just haven't put the time into figuring out the whole upload to a website deal ....
