Oh my goodness.
So about 11pm last night Lucas started crying. Not typical of him, we were both still up so I went in to get him. Thought cuddling with us might help, since he's actually wanted to cuddle lately.
Well, as soon as I walked back in our room he started vommiting.

Nonstop for like 20 minutes. Called the pedi on call and waited in the bathtub (he was still vommiting) for a call back.
Never got one. GRRR!! His fever was 100 w/ Tylenol so I just took him to the ER.
They brought in a respiratory therapist who gave him a nebulizer treatment and OMG the difference is amazing. His cough isn't even half as bad.
They're pretty sure the vommiting was from the pressure of how deep/hard his coughs were. Still scary as all get out! He was still vommiting at the ER, too.
So they gave him some Pedialyte and monitored to see if he could keep it down or if the coughs were still bad enough to make him throw it up, too. He kept it down! So we got to come home about 3am with a bag full of Pedialyte for today.
It also reinforced how much I LOVE that hospital. Every employee I came in contact with was amazing. The check-in guy even kept coming back to check on Lucas. Sang him songs... the nurse loved him. Told him to take care of mommy.

The respiratory therapist patted his back and rocked him to keep him calm during the treatment. I just really love them.
The ER also gave me their phone number so if something happens again I can call to see if I should bring him in first.
All in all, I'm REALLY glad that I took him.
..now I've got a TON of laundry to go do that is covered in vomit.
