The New Years Weekend Grind ~ 12/31/2016 - 1/2/2017

Good Morning!

I'm covering Monday with this post as it is the observed holiday for this Sunday's New Year's Day. Happy New Years Eve everyone!

Forget to tell you that my youngest brother and wife booked their first cruise ever on the Disney Dream for June of next year! They have a DD who will be 12 come cruise time and DS who will be 8. This is my brother who used to live by us in 2009 thru 2011 when the kids were real little. Anyway, they broke the news to the kids on Christmas morning and then the kids called us to tell us they were going on a Disney Cruise and we told them we were coming along! I can still hear their screams, hahaha! Gonna be sooo much fun!!!

Today:
Walk
Balance check book/savings accounts
Scrap a few pages
Peach Bowl this afternoon - Roll Tide
Making Prime Rib for NYE dinner
Movies and watch the ball drop!!

Tomorrow:
Walk
Pack for cruise!!
Joe to take down outdoor lights
Change batteries in smoke alarm
Scrap?
All Day crock pot pork roast and veggies for supper

Monday:
Once over upstairs
Water plants
Walk
Vacuum
Scrap
Final trip prep
Leftovers for supper

Have to work for a bit today, think we are going out to dinner and then a movie...not sure where or which one st this point.

Send sketch ideas for scrapbook I've been commissioned to make for previous MAW family
Put my laundry away
Work 10-2
Relax for a bit
Megan -homework, finish her laundry
Dinner and movie out

Sunday:
Homework if not finished
Grocery shop
Work on the disaster in my room
Figure out what I need to buy/order for scrapbook
Make nice dinner

Monday:
Megan going to work with classmates on group project for English
Start putting my tax stuff together, send donation lists to couple organizations to get financial totals
Pay bills
Balance checkbook
Meet friends for movie

Becky -- that is so exciting... is that the family w/ J the dude? I always remember his name! lol That will be so much fun!!!
Lisa -- that MAW book will be amazing!
Chae -- have a safe and happy new year!



Saturday:

watch bowl games
await flooring company to come by and give us a quote on kitchen/dining flooring (big sale going on)
have C look to see if his tuition bill changed (they hadn't deducted aid/scholarships yet)
B to print 2nd semester schedule and pull all supplies he may need
once over house
movie/games tonight
dinner -- buffet style
watch ball drop
talk to mom again today... lol

scrap the day away
talk to mom

Monday:

PJ returns to work (yes, they have to go in for training all day)
watch Rose Bowl parade /tape it for PJ (she is so upset this is the first one she will ever not watch with me in 23 years!)
talk to mom
watch games/movies
scrap
get B ready to go back to school *1/3*
C to get his stuff ready for college & me to get my stuff ready (classes start 1/9)
call to get B's drive test schedule w/ driver's ed school (he can officially get his license on 1/3 but due to the last months obligations; we were not able to get it scheduled for him... he has been very understanding...but I don't want to prolong it any longer than we need too)

The DCL cruise is with the Dude and his sister - gonna be AWESOME as J has already stated to me numerous times...hahaha!
