The new World of Disney...

Has anyone been yet??? I'm so excited about it, since it's my favorite shop in WDW.
And what about the other shops in village, are they still there, or have they made them into something else????

We came back late last night from a 5 night break, I was not expecting World Of Disney to be open as I had heard it wasn't until September! but its amazing in there! We loved it!

The main Disney store in the village was closed but reopened again at 15:00 yesterday!

Did the world of disney store have the same stuff as the disney store in village and as in the parks???

I went yesterday and had a look and yes it's very beautiful and all visually but the merchandise doesn't change much from what you can get in the rest of the park or the DV

There's a small amount of exclusives but nothing like I hoped for.

I have already looked at those pictures and they made me want to go even more. The problem with DLP is that you can get the same stuff in every single one of the shops :-( I hoped that World of Disney would have a bit more then the rest of the resort.

Re the other shops, the first part of the Disney store nearest Annettes is a Christmas shop (was opening at 15.30 yesterday so I didn't go in) and the main part has gone over to childrens stuff and we couldn't go in either

In WOD they had a few exclusive tshirts, the Phineas and Ferb stuff, a couple of huge Duffys but no prices on them, an exclusive range of mugs and other things that we weren't too keen on and the Brave stuff that we haven't seen else where as yet

I was hoping for things from Disney parks around the world but who knows they might come

It is closed, like I said above it's now Christmas stuf in the small bit and childrens clothes, games and toys in the big bit.

You get a good selection of clothng in the Disney Fashion store and the ajoining shop

I thought it was going to be on 2 floors too so I know what you mean. It's very light and airy but everything is on one level and I can see it getting packed out in busy periods

Bit of an obscure question but does anyone know how much a vinylmation costs in Paris

I want some of th 20th anniversary ones, I would rather buy there but if they are a lot more I will just order on the disneystore

We ended up buying about 15 Vinylmation's! they ranged between €9.99 and €12.99, however there was a really good deal on 2 of the ranges where if you brought one for €12.99 you got a second one for €2.00!!! this is why we ended up buying so many!

I am not sure if this deal would still be on as we went 9th-14th July.

Hope you manage to find some good deals on them!

I was so excited when I heard about this store and more so when I found out it's open in time for us going...but after seeing pics of the merchandise I'm quite gutted because a lot of it is the same as 3 years ago when I was last there. The interior looks good though. But I guess at least one thing- I'll spend less!!

I'm REALLY hoping they have some Frankenweenie merchandise ready for the release of it.
