We were there in December and had the CM print our boarding passes for Southwest. It worked great. I just checked with the CM earlier in the day and asked what I needed to do and then went down right at midnight - to make sure we got our "A" passes - and they printed right up. Have a great time!!

I have a question regarding BALCONIES.

What kind of balconies are there for the 6th floor rooms, Woodsview, North wing?

I saw a thread asking this question; it has some replies, but I decided to ask th WL experts.

Should we wait and ask for an upgrade at check-in? Can we expect any AP rates at this time of the season? So many questions and so little knowledge. Please help.

I believe the only rooms over the lobby on the concierge floor are the honeymoon suites- someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

We stayed on the 6th floor and had a regular balcony... I think the only place where the 6th floor has the obstructed balcony is at the ends of the wings where the 6th floor is the top floor, the parts of the 6th floor that have one more floor above have the regular balconies.

Pretty much...yeah. Matter of fact, the honeymoon suites don't actually open "to" the lobby. They open facing each other into a very small hall that leads out to the lobby. There are 2 honeymoon suites in the North Wing and 2 in the South Wing.

You do have the easiest access to the concierge staff and food and drink area from these rooms though.

So if you want your room to open out to the lobby, forget about conceige unless you go for the honeymoon suites?

I nearly flipped out yesterday night when I went to view my ininerary online at WDW's beta vacation planner. It said that I was booked into a "Standard Room" at WL for our stay from May 12th - 20th when i KNOW i booked Courtyard view with my Disney Travel Planner on Sat night.

Thankfully the crisis was averted when I called CRO this morning to double check on my ressie. I spoke with a really sweet CM who told me that the Beta vacation planning system is dealing with a TON of glitches. *whew* ok all is wonderful in the world. I still have my courtyard view (and for $181/night!! ) I've requested an inner courtyard room, on a higher floor (may call back and request 4th floor, South Wing Inner Courtyard specifically as that is where we stayed our last trip to WL and loved it) CRO has also noted on the ressie that my parents will be celebrating their 25th anniversary The CM this morning was so cute, she said they've requested extra pixie dust and magic in hopes of getting my parents something special for their anniversary. Isn't Disney just the best?

Calling all WL Vets!

Ok, I've read a bit about bear face room here on the WL thread and from what i can tell they are Inner Courtyard view that open onto the lobby. I've requested an Inner Courtyard, 4th or 5th floor for our upcming trip May 12th - 20th. We're booked in as courtyard and because i've requested Inner Courtyard directly through CRO I'm not too worried about the view.

How would i go about requesting a bear face room? It's my parents 25th wedding anniversary this year and I want this stay to be really special (I've had CRO note the 25th anniversary too) I know fax requests aren't accepted anymore, how about a letter to the general manager? My dad thought te bear face room sounded amazing and really would like one. Would CRO know what I was talking about if i had them request "Inner courtyard bear front room, 4th or 5th floor"?

Also, has anyone recieved upgrades or something special in the room for anniversaries? If so, what were they? Thanks so much!!

I was wondering which rooms have bunk beds? Do all the views have this option or just certain ones? We are going in September with our 3 year old and I think she would love the bunk beds but I haven't been able to find out much information on these rooms. Thanks in advance for all the help.

PS this will be our 1st time staying at WL and we can't wait. Once I showed hubbie the pictures of this resort even he got excited about coming.

All you have to add to your reservation request would be room off Lobby, on 4th or 5th floor. (you already have the courtyard view)

If you want to have a special surprise for your parents anniversary I would suggest you make the the arrangements. Almost eveyone that visits WDW is celebrating a birthday, anniversary, honeymoon, ect, ect, the resorts just couldn't keep up with all the events...(sometimes they do try)...but if you want something you would need to pre-order it.

Yes they do have 1st floor Woods View Rooms they are located in the North Wing and some have the otter pond right outside, while it is a walk to the Lobby, it's not a long walk. Roaring Fork and the boat dock would be very convenient.

Hi, There are Woods View and Courtyard Views that have the bunk beds just not in every room, if you would like this option just make sure it's on your room request. I hope you have a Magical Trip and that you enjoy your stay at the Lodge.

Just one more woodsview question PLEASE! I am having a hard time picturing this and would love your help! If I request a 6th floor loby view north tower room?? When I look off my balcony what will I see??? Also, being on the 6th floor, I still have a floor above me? Right?? Would I then have the enclosed balcony? Would this be something you would request? Or, do you have a better suggestion? Thanks for bearing with me!
